Software engineering interns bring in a minimum of like 15 grand for a summer...this is a lot of money to be wasting on someone who doesn't abide by the rules and whose recalcitrance might end up costing the firm a lot of money.

lol @ @ calling that bullying, jesus... Should have given the kunt a wedgie when he said that and then got all up in his face shouting "Wot! U wot? Little entitled intern boy gonnacry or something? Ha! Look at this ******* everyone, he's actually gonna cry! Right, new team-building exercise: everyone form an orderly queue to punch this twink in the stomach, let's give him something to cry about"
I break into old ladies' homes, steal biscuits from their tins and replace them with sewing materials for maximum grandkid confusion.

I would've embarrassed him in front of the others. Probably would have been spoken to about it by HR but everyone would've been happy someone did it.

College sports games always had me cringing so hard with everyone doing the same exact celebration dances when we'd score. This reminds me of my soccer team. So our sort of team initiation thing we did was that all freshman and transfer players had to choose a girl from the girls soccer team (we all traveled together for conference games), and serenade them. So I went first my year, of course, and I had to serenade a girl in front of both teams and coaches, plus half of olive garden.
It was all in fun though. And the girls did the same thing so they would serenade us. We we all nervous af, etc. The thing was, it was tradition. For 25 years this tradition was done. And when you finished it was all fun and games and you had a great story to joke about.
Well the next year a kid complained, having his parents call the athletic department. We had to stop the tradition because some boner was being a pussy. We weren't told who, but we know who it was. He quit anyways.
The point is, like your company, it is part of the team/company. It is their company, and they can uphold and do what they want. It was productive. And yet these little pricks think they are too cool for being part of a team/company. Yea maybe not everything is awesome or fun or something you want to do, but you do it anyways. You are an employee, not a CEO, manager, etc. Everyone else does it.
It frustrates me to no end hearing and seeing all of these kids. Bunch of entitled, disgraceful children

Chinese have a saying - Wealth does not go past 3 generations.
The first generation works hard to build the foundation
The second generation sees the value of hard work, and uses it to build the family fortune
The third generation lives a life of luxury, and squanders all the wealth away.
The upcoming generation don't see their elders having to work their asses off just to put food on the table.
They think that unkind words and not getting what they demand = injustice.

There's always deadchits in every generation but I honestly believe that Millennials have been fkd over. They'll be forever working to fund the retirements of the Baby Boomers. This generation is probably going to be the hardest working for the smallest reward. Good luck owning property if you're young in my country. I was able to buy before prices skyrocketed but a lot of young people will be forever renting.
