No hate on London, but for me it's not the GOAT. Sometime in the early 1900's it lost it's title to NYC and in relation to other European cities in not as beautiful in layout, architecture, culture, or climate. (brb Barcelona and all the other cities I've listed above). Nonetheless great town with great history and would visit again without hestiation. Would not live.
Ive been round most of those, Munich and Barcelona are fantastic and on the whole prettier than London but..

I would get bored a lot quicker in those places than London. You will never run out of places to go, I've lived near it all my life and haven't seen more than a fraction of it. That's the appeal, and why its so expensive. Other cities just seem one dimensional by comparison. (New York is the only direct comparison you can make)

London born and bred but haven't lived there the last 5 years.

Lived in Rio 2 years, just north of Perth for 2 years and now living in Auckland, NZ.

I still love London and always will, but I can't see me going back there. I'll never have a job to really enjoy it and fuk commuting 2 hours each day to get to the center. Weather is chit (UK in general) and the women are fuggers but London does have women from all over the world which helps. They just cover themselves up constantly due to chit weather.

Still, always something to do. I can't say I feel the same about Auckland or Perth.

Been to New York and that was awesome. I'd go there again.

American brah living over here.

It's expensive, weather is usually crap(have had a real good summer tho), and it's overcrowded as fawk. Food is different.. I don't know how to explain it but they eat differently than us, weird combinations like peas with steak and sandwiches.

The positives.. Their transportation system ****s on americas, the tubes are clean as hell and work super efficiently, just shut down early.. like 11 if I remember right. If you ask for help most likely they'll help you.. being from the northeast I wouldn't even ask for help back home. There's some hidden gems like in camden.

It's a fine place to chill for a week or so with friends, visit clubs and chit from time to time, but I wouldn't live there. The city is pretty for sure.

Everything is wayyyyy overpriced.
Too many people everywhere.
Commuting looks like hell.

If money was not object, London wouldn't be on my list to live. Visit sure, but not live especially when I could live in San Diego or Scottsdale.

I've been to London and it was cool, but the Weather alone would make me not want to live there.

Yea but no one says it about other cities. So that does say something about London. Everytime I read something about visiting london, most of them say it's dirty. Same goes for people I know who travel all the time. They have never said anything about other countries being dirty. London and Paris are the only ones labeled dirty.

Plus we come from USA so that says a lot.

Everyone successful who works in London lives in the home counties. The people who actually live in London are immigrants and welfare scroungers. It's a horrible place, everything is overpriced, it's dirty, overcrowded and full of inferior cultures. Go and visit Bath, Cornwall or York and then London will seem like a cesspool. Tourists only visit London because they don't know about other towns/cities, it's sad. It's the same with Paris, very overrated city compared to other parts of France.
