Why does London get hate LMFAO?
It's still no.1 if you have the money to enjoy it in terms of status and it's probably the most famous City of all time in a historical sense. It's also aesthetic as fuk apart from the scummy areas. Some of the other Cities posted in here by high flyers might be better socially, but the architecture makes me cry with laughter. Also LOL @ even considering living in London unless your beyond your means.

Hated London.
Chit weather, food sucked, if by 'history and culture' you mean halal chicken stands and aloha snackbars on every corner..then okay.
Also dirty, crowded, overpriced. No idea why anyone would live there.
Lake District is the only place worth going in England..it's a flyover country as far as I am concerned.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

It does have a good history with nice museums and such..but it's just suffocated by the general uncleanliness of the city and all the Halal chicken stands.

Dirty, over crowded, expensive, chit weather, rude people. Its just a very unwelcoming place.
Mind=Blown that people actually want to live there/visit.

This can be said for every major city in the West. If you do not have money, prepare to have a bad time.
If you have money, this is probably what living in London is like for you.

If you don't have money this is your London

Same with The Netherlands and Belgium and Norway.
They are all overrun with migrants though.
Europe in 20 years is going to be an absolute cesspool

Don't get the expensive thing, it's all relative... If you live and work in London you get paid more than you do if you live elsewhere generally. Yeah house prices are ridiculous but they are in the centre of most major cities in the world and this is irrelevant if you're a tourist as you're not buying/renting a property during your 2 weeks holiday.
Everything else isn't outrageous, I travel a lot with work and the big cities in Europe are generally on par for food and drink costs, the only difference is there's nowhere near as much choice or as much going on in these places as there is in London, not even close. it's probably the only genuine global city in the world along with New York, if you can't have a good time here and find something to interest you, amaze you, excite you, etc then you're probably never happy.
As for the weather, yeah it's chit a lot of the time but it's England ffs, you're not coming here to lie on the beach
And I guarantee unless you're living in some poverty chit hole suburb like tower hamlets or barking you'all rarely meet a 'snackbar' at all, certainly not within Zone 1
