I think you may as well resign, OP... lmao.
As a few others have said - she is going to make your life there difficult now.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...
I've been through enough professional (and even a menial job) to know how this goes down. Either you call her out on it by going to the boss etc and having her being disciplined (could be done in extreme situations where you DO NOT want to talk to her first), approach her privately to discuss (works), or do this publicly and face a big fallout.
Everytime she thinks of you etc now, her blood pressure will go up. A way you could alleviate this situation is to quietly and calmly get her aside one day, and apologise for how you went about this and how it would have humiliated her etc.
Or you know, you could just let pride get in your way (like many misc'ers), and wait til things get really bad.
One thing you need to remember - the way MISC usually talks about women and dealing with them =/= real life!

a mans ultimate weapon
indifference and showing her actions/words have zero impact on you
however since this is work it's entirety different
I would suggest going to supervision and filing statements on this , SRS
if something really is going on you need to settle this if not she is lying and will be shown as such
coworkers will think twice about making harassment claims or other work related issues if you show that you are willing to bring it up for investigation
go to supervision and write statement about what happened and what was said

If you feel uncomfortable about lying at work, maybe you picked the wrong job. Should I let HR know about your derogatory verbal attacks against my team?
or since you were in private, you could've played her game & added, "or how you just threatened to make up a story to try to get me in trouble?"

You're double fk'd if management likes her and/or aren't buddies with you.
They are going to think of you as the problem unless this girl has a history of doing this. They don't want to create a perception that their work area is a place where a powerless female is allowed to be bullied by a gym bro.
Like someone else said, you may be able to resolve this, but start looking for a new job. srs. It'll be this company's loss in the long run.

One thing i learned in the office is females are our overlords, be nice to them and nice things will happen to you. Most places I work females are either my bosses, or my bosses are whiteknighting any females that work there.
Thats why I always give money for those friday brunches, or birthday lunches etc.
I also bring in cakes and snacks for everyone in the team.
and am on good terms with all of them.
You tried to beat the system thinking you are equal or better than a female... Wrong you are not.
Let me leave you with a quote so you can better yourself for future jobs coz you will most likely be fired from this one.

It's never a good idea to argue directly with other people at work. If I'm in a meeting and want to **** all over someone, I usually address the entire room and explain very carefully why what was said is dumb as fuk. That way I'm not arguing with any one person in particular, but I'm still calling them out.

Shouldn't have been arguing to begin with but at that point I probably wouldn't have bent the knee and just accepted what she said. Would've probably laughed at her, rolled my eyes and said "REALLY? You're uncomfortable around me because YOU decided to call me out and then couldn't provide examples when I asked for one? That's pretty pathetic." then probably said some **** about how you found what she said to be offensive yadda yadda.

I have worked with good and bad people of both sexes.
Guys cause less problems at work. Most are either neutral with you, leave you alone and or just want to bullchit about hobbies. The problem guys are the ones who get competitive and pride themselves on being smarter, stronger etc better than you. When I worked in product develpment some of the younger engineers were total b!tches to work with. Again, 2 out of 3 guys are easy to work with.
With women its mostly how they feel. Women like to talk on average something like 4 to 5 times? As much as men each day. At work they talk about the most stupid mundane chit and if you dont entertain them they write you off as an azzhole. Cakes. Birthdays. Snacks. Talking about their cats and watching netflix as a hobby. Its mind numbing. You cant turn and ignore them otherwise they see you as a cold/distant type which causes issues (seriously got flack for this once)-- its never to your face either. THIS IS THE DANGER they bring. They tell other women on the low behind your back and tell the manager and then its a real issue because good luck convincing 80% of people against you vs her. She already won the over that you arent a team player because you laughed at her for calling her pet cat her "boyfriend" or something equally insane
I find the best women to work with are those who you share a mutual attraction or respect with or those ones who act/feel slightly maternal towards you. They can be some of the best colleagues. Unfortunately I usually find 1 or 2 at most each place I work. Women who have actual feelings for you -- and if you dont like them -- thats a problem at work, too. I get people cant control who they are attracted to, but if you show zero interest in dating a coworker, they can become total c**ts.
Also women in senior roles -- I find they often look fown on you as a resource and not as much a person. Whereas women in other teams or below you in the hierachy are way easier to work with.
With men you can usually get away with a quick head nod and a joke.
With women you have to explain what you did over the weekend and think they get to evaluate you.
Just some anecdotal experience.
