Are bloody stools a really bad sign?

I get bloody stools from time to time, mainly when my chits are very big and hard (no homo) because I haven't been getting fiber.

It usually goes away once I get enough fiber so it seems benign to me

From what I understand, it could be. Classic colon cancer symptom. I will say that mine is just like yours. The first time I ever noticed blood in my chit, I was probably 12 years old. I held it in after playing playstation for too long and when I went to the bathroom it was painful and bloody. From there, every few months I would notice a bloody streak on my chit. I self disgnosed as fissures or hems and ignored it for years. Now I'm reading about 20something year olds who had the same thing, told a doctor who then shoved a camera up their ass and found tumors, sometimes stage 4 cancer. Scary chit. Maybe my anxiety is getting the better of me, but at least 3 warning signs of cancer match what I experience.

Might have to. I have no debt right now and I'm real proud of that. I really don't believe in paying for things you can't afford. Last resort I will though.

Does anyone know if urgent care clinics will take walk ins for this kind of stuff and bill me rather than requiring an advanced payment? I want to go ASAP.

i had the exact same thing, and it turned out to be internal hemmorhoids

colonoscopy and everything had to be done, it was miserable. now all i need to do is take a fiber supplement once a day and all good

i'm hoping you get the same diagnosis! i immediately thought the worst as well, hopefully this can put you at ease

I have the same symptoms but apparently I have nothing serious aparently, went to many doctors and said the same. I have ****tic pain though and I take medicine, I have months taking it but I still feel like chit and still having the same symptoms as you have, but the neurologist said it's all ****tic...

I would lean more toward Chron's disease than Colon cancer (unless there's some family history of colon cancer). Definitely would go see a doc OP.

- On and off diarrhea that may be bloody
- Chron's usually starts in the 20s

My understanding is yes cancers can be slow growing and you can have it for years pretty much without noticing, but once very obvious symptoms appear the cancer is reasonably large and progression will be much faster now, as will your decline. I find it very hard to believe you have had the symptoms of more advanced colon cancer for 2 years and not only have you not worsened, you even had a symptom free period of 6 months.

Far more likely something less sinister brother.

Friend of mine got diagnosed with colon cancer with spots on his liver and spread to his lympth system. Given 1 year to live. He's still fine and at work full time now thanks to a medical trial of immunotherapy. His own system basically ate the tumors down to the point where the doctors need a magnifying glass to see them and several disappeared all together.

Med school brah here, learned about colon cancer (specifically Lynch syndrome) recently

If it doesn't run in your family then it's probably not colon cancer. I could be wrong, and probably am wrong, but I would look at other digestive diseases first.

First things first OP...do NOT read ANY more internet horror stories. Best advice I can give you is avoid reading anything on the internet until you see a doctor. I tend to be like you as far as reading to much online and conjuring up the worst possible scenario in my head. At one point in the recent past, I began experiencing a large variety of health issues after sleeping with a girl I met from a bar. As I began surfing the net, I'd discovered many of my symptoms were similar to those of AIDS. I ultimately began to panic and convinced myself I had AIDS befor I even saw a doctor.

Finally went to the doctor, had bloodwork drawn, and found out I had severe hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency instead.

Point being...symptoms can be attributed to a wide variety of health issues/illnesses.



Secondly... GO SEE A DOCTOR. If you don't have insurance, get it immediately. If you can't do that, pay out of pocket. Regardless of what is causing your condition, waiting 6 years to see a doc is pure idiocy.


Third, my grandfather died of colon cancer. Supposedly, that puts me and my dad at a higher genetic risk for contracting it. My dad has been recieving colonoscopies ever since he turned 40 and has had no issues. Colon cancer is very rare as others have said. The docs won't even begin testing me until I turn 40. Very low likelihood that you have it OP.

I can guarantee that you don't have colon cancer lol. Probably Crohn's disease.

You said it started 6 years ago? There is 0% chance that you would be alive today if you had colon cancer. If someone as young as you has it, it would be aggressive and you'd be dead by now.

Sounds like UC. I had it for years and would flare for a few days then go to normal. Once I quit smoking I went into a huge flair up that never stopped. You will need to see a few doctors to get a real result. You will need a colonoscopy done for full evaluation. I ended up getting cancer from all the immune suppressants I was on at once (prednisone, remicade, humira, immuron, azacol and a few others). Best/Worst decision in my life was to get the J-Pouch surgery. You will wear a chitbag for a few months and then they remove it and open up your new pooper (they pull the small intestine down and sew it to whats left of your rectum). At first the chitbag was depressing until you learn how to make it fart in public and make people feel awkward as fuk. Took a few years to recover but I eat wtf I want. You will have good days and bad days but nothing compared to flair-up days.

Also I found you can run celltech heavier as there is more room for your bloated prostate not srs
