Yes, it's become normal.

Feminism has taught women that they don't need to be mothers or nurturers; that they should be career women and independent instead.

More power to the women who are cool with it - but I know women who are around the 45 year old range who have many regrets of not having babies when they could have. In a way, it's a good thing - because a lot of these women end up adopting. Kids need good people to adopt them - what better parents than those who have gotten the party'ing phase out of their system and are ready to raise a family.

I know girls around 25-26 who have finished their education and have good careers who have no intention of getting married or having kids in the near future.

Women eggs age. They have a finite number of eggs from start to finish. Sperm cells die and new ones are generated. They don't really age.

I think marriage trends are way different than they used to be.

Some stupids and high school sweethearts getting married but thats about it.

Havent been on ******** in a while so im sure there are some idk about but majority of people i know my age are not married

Guarantted they are not happy not having kids. Why would someone be happier at work then with family? thats just idiotic.

Given the chance everyone of them would be a housewife.

I can also guarantee that not one of them can cook and doesnt understand the value that a man places on a woman that can cook.

Anecdotal evidence is kinda **** in a thread like this, but I know some very driven career women who found a quality guy who liked them and went all-in immediately. I often wonder if they're all like that: career-driven, independent and strong until they get in a good relationship and then suddenly the compromises they've been scoffing at for a decade are at once worth it. Not saying starting a family is the holy grail, but at least some people don't want kids because admitting they want kids is admitting failure.

Are you doubting the natural tendency of a very feminine nature to not want to be a provider but in a more supporting role as a nurturer?

The great thing about women is that we're versatile and flexible. Like water - we conform to our surroundings. We can do both roles (masculine and feminine) - but to say that we're comfortable doing them is a far reach.

I've yet to see a straight woman fulfilling a very masculine role successfully and enjoying it.

While some 35yo+ women might not want to have kids or marriage, EVERY 'sane' woman want a loving relationship. And not just the idea, but to actually BE IN ONE.

you make it sound like every women has the main goal of reproduction.

Could it not be possible that she and her friends make enough money to support themselves happily, that they still get laid and get attention, and that they have no desire to have children? Not all women need a man, I personally wouldnt even want to be with a girl who NEEDS a man.

I'm not denying that it's in our nature to be like that. But come on it's not the fukin 50's anymore where EVERY woman craves to be in the kitchen all day. I'd hate to be dependent on my other half being the sole bread winner, I'd feel like a child asking for pocket money and I'd like to be able to bring something to the table myself as well

I'm pretty sure I know who you sat next to

Many of these women see other children and it seems like a huge sacrifice to raise a child (and it is for sure, financially, emotionally, sleep, etc). I had that mindset until the age of 32 when I had a niece, and then it was baby fever. But from 25-32 I wanted nothing to do with children and was more interested in my tennis tournament ranking.

They don't act desperate to find a beta provider to settle down with. Many of them travel around the world and find happiness with other pursuits.

Though most women want kids, there are some that genuinely don't. It's a bit odd that it's that many of them and they know each other, but I guess at that age it makes sense that they would gravitate together and away from all the other women with kids. So it's not outside the realm of possibilities that they all genuinely don't want kids.

It's not like that one bit. Supporting the one you love, in every way, is bringing something to the table. You take care of each other just in different and equally important ways.

I also didn't say that the woman HAD to stay home and not work. I specifically said about being "the provider." Again, I believe in gender roles. There is a priority role that each gender does well in - imo. That's not to say that each gender can't do the other role, they just won't be comfortable doing it long term.

I was referring to the part of my post where the fella that I quoted above said about being in the kitchen cos he mentioned that himself. And like I said, I don't disagree with our natural nurturing role; I'm just saying things are different nowadays and women (AND men) needn't be confined to a particular role, not to the extreme anyway. You quoted me on what I said back to that guy, I'm just reiterating what I meant. I didn't say once that women aren't naturally this or that way

Age IS a factor in male fertility - sperm quantity, quality, etc. decline over time. However the effect is not nearly so great as for women.

This is my point exactly, for ME the boredom would suck, like it did for you hence why you did something about it (and good for you). I'm not denying that both roles can be done, my initial point is based on the suggestion that one half remains the stay at home while the other is the provider
