I'm a woman and hold the door open for other people, it's a basic common courtesy. I see other people doing it all the time too.

This. At the hospital I work they are notorious for barging into the elevator as soon as the door opens instead of waiting for people to exit first. Sh*t is rude and never see a man do this.

Women hold the door open for me, though not as much as other men but they almost always say thank you to me when i hold it for them. This big booty chick at 7-eleven last night was coming out of the door and I was going in. I opened the door and told her to come out, I was expecting her to just breeze by with a half hearted thank you because a lot of the really attractive women will do that. She said thank you very loudly and held it open for me too. Had to look back at dat ass while she was walking away.

Lol, this happens a lot on the trains here in NYC. I laugh every time one tries to barge into the train doors as soon as they open with that entitled "excuse me, don't you see me trying to get in here" face, and she just gets mobbed right back out until everyone comes out and it's safe to start boarding.

On the topic of women and our anecdotal experience with them - they seem to be the only ones who block you quickly for having an opposing view on fb.

Like no legitimate rebuttal at all.. just "how could you be so dumb!" followed by a block.. and after getting multiple likes on your well thought out comment on their post.

I think it's technique; there's a way to open the door for a woman which makes her attracted to you (it's subconscious but totally natural). Too often guys open the door for women either in a very submissive and kowtowing manner or nonchalant manner which doesn't appeal to women at all. But if you take the extra time to stand up straight, chest out, and make eye contact with the woman as you open the door for her and smile, she will be forced to acknowledge your presence and more often than not, smile back because she appreciates that extra second attention and chivalry she's receiving from a man.

Well considering ops story is that women never do, the fact that any do means ops story isn't real. It doesn't need to be 100% of women opening doors to disprove that.

Where I live, girls hold the door for me 4 times outta 5. Generally it's the ladies in their 30s and beyond that don't hold the door.

or maybe I was just involved/reading when it happened and didn't realize it took off lmao

but cannot confirm OP, I have my gf open doors for me. I used to open them for her and she used to expect it, but one day we pulled up to noodles and I just stared at the door handle until she opened it. Haven't touched any doors other than my drivers side car door since.
