If you make 6 figures and you're only supporting yourself with 2k rent, then you're horrible with money - period.

None, lol. Literally. I try and save money by gaming all weekend if I don't have a date, which I try to low ball like Dave Chappelle in Half Baked.

pretty much everything is gone after that. After gas money, and the occasional random, non-monthly expense that falls into my lap, I don't blow money, because I don't have any left to blow.

Max my 401k contributions, can only afford to save a few hundred a month or so, trying to build a portfolio to swing trade.

My 1 bedroom is 2800 in foster city. I'm not struggling with money at all. I haven't been lifting though and have been spending more time working and ldaring.

It's good to have disposable income.

Coming from a $60,000 salary to six figures my question of buying things go from "Can I afford it?" to "Do I really want to buy this?". Different mindset for sure.

But I still have to think about the future.

Why don't you use the VA home loan to buy a house. I did that, bought a house in the bay area now I am renting it out for $$$ my tenants are paying my mortgage an then some.
