I've had a -20%/+20% diet work well for me, but not necessarily any better than myriad other options. I find personally my biggest issue with -20%/+20% diets are that I don't end up eating enough on the workout days, leading to slow climbs in systemic cortisol levels, leading to water retention, leading to me wanting to cut sooner than I should be cutting, etc. So if you do it, just make sure to eat properly on the eating days. If you time your feeding windows very well (eating only after working out, doing a small bit of fasted cardio on rest/low calorie days, etc) then you can definitely "bulk" and "cut" on a day-to-day basis, but that's not necessarily far superior to just bulking steadily with a lower surplus over each day. If you're still super interested in getting into the weeds of dieting, then by all means give it a shot. At this point I've 80/20 rule'd out a lot of diet strategies that require lots of planning and thinking.

My main goal these days when bulking is "don't get fat on rest days" (so, eating at maintenance or below maintenance), and "try to boost the **** out of my testosterone levels on workout days" by lifting heavy, eating a lot of fatty meat, and trying to remain as sexually active as possible. That last one seems out of place, but I've A-B tested it many times and it seems to play a part.

RIP miscers testosterone goals
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Stats were 63kg lmao. 5 foot 7.

Miscers and lifters who wanna be shredded (striated glute status) need to forget about weight and keep cutting until shredded. I am 85kg fat as fuark atm. Will cut down again when achieve lifting goals.

Yup. There's a big difference between being lean and being shredded...they are not the same.

This is the leanest I've ever been (185ish @ 6', about a year into lifting)

definitely the physique that got the most attention and compliments.

Been about 6 years since then and have slowly made my way up to 265. Just wanna chill at this weight and recomp most likely since it makes sense for my height in powerlifting.

Goal Physique:

Current Physique:

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I did one light 9 week cycle, you're not gonna get a "roided" physique off of just one.

And strong judging from a no avi, guarantee we both look 10x better than you

impressed by a lot of awesome physiques itt... misc lifters unite!

this was my last bodybuilding show back in 2012. bw was 188 here and natty

this was towards the end of 2012 after supplements and bulking.. I wanna say around 225ish here. Did this photoshoot with my ex gf. Started focusing on more strength training around this time

this one is about 6 months ago around 250lbs. I'm down to 240ish right now so might be a touch tighter now but I don't take many selfies. Current goals aren't to gain much more weight. For powerlifting I'm not too concerned about my physique but I don't want to get fat either. As long as I can keep some abs and don't look like chit I'm cool with it

mirin the physiques ITT hard

been on dat dere dad bod time for as long as i can remember. lifting has been quite inconsistent for the past couple of years but i've been super consistent since the beginning of the year and gonna stay at it. currently at 180 and maybe 17-18% bodyfat, down from 187 and probably 20%+ bodyfat in February.

goal is to get decently lean by june/july (maybe 12% bodyfat), maintain over the summer, then clean bulk starting in the fall

1.Shorter dudes always look swoller.

2.Lower bodyfat always makes you look bigger with a shirt off.

3.A lot of people use cell tech, then discontinue use and claim natty, even though it forever changed their body composition.
