I honestly don't know what they were thinking with Ghostbusters. The studio could have made so much money on licensing alone with all the toys and merchandise they could have sold. But they instead decided to act like potatoes and make a film with 4 unattractive women in the lead. What little girls do you know are running to the stores to buy toys of female heroines that capture monsters? The franchise is tailor made for males and instead they decide to gamble. I'm so glad that movie failed.

i remember when garbage like michael bays TMNT came out and some chick was like "im going to see it" and i was like "i can tell you now its a **** movie why would u waste ur money" and she said "well theres nothing else out there" and refused to believe she could just NOT GO to the movies that weekend, and then came back later saying it was awful obviously.

its just stupid people that will throw their money at ANYTHING. thor 2 was the worst movie far and away in the MCU

I've sat in theaters before where a god awful trailer for a movie comes on. And I'm sitting there thinking, "There's no way anybody would pay to see this." And lo and behold, I'll hear some people in the crowd say, "Oh, my god, that looks good." People amaze me sometimes.

When I found out that bald white sloot in Dr. Strange was originally an old chinese dude in the comics I loled hard. For a movie with absolutely zero character development the fact that they chose to cast the stereotypical "old wise chinese grand master sensei guy" character with the woman from narnia really didn't help much.

If anything it actually made the movie more confusing because at least with an old chinese guy it's such a trope that you'd already know who the character is supposed to be just by looking at him and you can focus on the rest of the movie.

The only people complaining about the whitewashing are Americans.

I saw a video where a guy walked around Japan and asked people what they thought about Scarlet being Major in the movie. Showing them clips and junk of the movie.

They didn't care. They had confused looks on their face when the reporter said that Americans were upset over it. This is how countries see us now. We complain about whitewashing when it has nothing to do with whites getting replaced, who uses what restrooms, and wars.

Ghost in the Shell is doing fantastic in those countries as well.
