Absolutely no idea. But would rather free solo Yosemite (IF I had the skill to do it) than get stuck in that horrible looking cave. At least you die quickly, not just lay down and rot til you die from dehydration or whatever.

Dude climbers have INSANE hands. They could just fracture your hand like it was nothing. Look at fringer strength training boards. It's just like a board with a 1 CM board attached to it for handing on by your finger tips.

It can be a simple as exploring part of the world that we rarely see. You're really over thinking this.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

Spooky I guess...

But he cuts the video all the time. He could of easily put a phone or some sort of audio machine down somewhere and started playing a recording he made or got somewhere. Easily put 1 minute of no noise in the beginning then add that voice in later so it seems that it interrupts him. It would easily echo to make it seem its coming from nowhere, "gets scared' starts walking out -- cuts video, picks up phone, starts recording again, done.

For people that see caves, yea.. but for people that put their lives on the line - putting themselves in tight spaces struggling to move? No..

Skydiving seems worse. At least you could possibly get rescued if you got stuck in a cave. Some of these people that jump out of planes without parachutes and stuff seems ridiculous.

I went to the harpers ferry overlook earlier this year and some cute af little spanish girl was doing hand stands on the edge of the rock. All I could think was what a waste of a perfectly good piece of ass if she fell.

The nutty putty cave death,
poor depressed brah is having problems with his marriage,
goes into risky cave for bullchit hobby
gets stuck fukin upside down and dies after like 36 hours of trying to be rescued
they cant get him out, he is still down there, they sealed the cave from then on.

his wife marries his former roommate 3 years after his death

no thanks fuk caving
Honestly, in that type of situation, there shouldn't even have been a rescue party to save him since it was dangerous for the people trying to rescue him for him doing something so idiotic to begin with.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes and he won his while being upside down.

No Vitamin D from the Sun in a dark cave. All these cave dwellers are Vitamin D deficient.

Friend of a friend died cave diving back in college. Nightmare fuel ffs. The increased potential for a slow death separates it from other 'dangerous' hobbies, imo.

It's not exactly an "adventure" if you can't get killed in the process of drawing a map, now is it?

Best to keep to your video games and Disneyland visits, if you don't have the guts to spelunk.
