Just looking at the pics. So jealous. Dude you are literally living like a rockstar. You have your own frickin' tour bus! Dude, if you can't pull some trim with that thing, there is SERIOUSLY something wrong with you.

does **** happen? Yes. Is it going to happen? most likely not.
I get that you want to hate my decision. so be it.

Curious...
1) What happens if you're driving it to a new location, cross-country, and the **** breaks down? Your entire house is now on the side of the road - what do you do? You have to get one of those giant trucker-sized tows?
2) Also - if you park it and enjoy your place... what happens after a few months and you decide to leave? You just crank it up without any issues? I could see you sitting in the same spot over a winter... is it going to just start right up?

2)During the winter, I'm sure you could plug the RV into an outlet at say......a camping ground, and keep it in good shape during the winter. I would always make sure to move it every week though, just to keep things moving smoothly.
Won't even lie..........when I'm in my rig and driving down the highway, and I see some older couple driving one of these, with their car hitched to the back, I get jelly as phuck.
I guess you just really have to enjoy driving, which I obviously do. So jealous.

OP - that's awesome, man! What kind of furniture & decor are you going with? Black/white & grey themed with some modern furniture would look really great in that "small" space.

Would be a legit way to spend your mid to late 20's then settle in your 30s, just like you say tow a car and have a bike and pick a spot to base out of for 2 weeks and travel the area.
Semi-jelly. You should consider starting an instagram, youtube, and written blog to document your travels and make some gas cash, also take up photography if you have a spare few K to drop on a DSLR tripod and a couple lenses. Good luck opie

I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but if you're living in it full time you'll want to budget for appliance repairs. The appliances in those are 12v and not meant to be used on a full time basis. My family owned a dealership and I sold these things for like ten years. AMA.

RV's are made to sit awhile and start right up. There's a whole checklist you go through before putting it in drive, similar to a pre trip inspection for a CDL trip.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

Better than most apartments I've lived in, srs. Would be fun to redo the inside a bit. Get the boys and take a snowboarding trip to Colorado, hnnnnngg.

OP if this thing doesn't have a giant yellow H painted on top within a month of buying it then you need to slap yourself.

That's awesome man. Good for you.
Well, what I should say is make sure you're saving and investing hard while you're doing this otherwise it's not THAT great, but if you do that's awesome. If you found a work from home job and got satellite wifi and traveled the country for a year, that would be sick.

I think this is pretty cool OP eventhough i dont think i could do it myself.
One question though, are you not looking to start a family? I imagine it would be hard to do since theres limited expansion capabilities of those rv's.
My family had an rv for one summer as a kid, one of the most memorable summers of my childhood!

OP, spend a little time driving it around in less populated areas and parking lots where you can get used to your turning circle and get a feel for your boundries. You'll have it down in no-time, and then you'll be lol'ing at the thought of dropping thousands of dollars to learn how to drive a sleeper-cab and 53ft trailer for no reason.
