Short answer is it depends on the person.

I've shared ex-gf's before at swinger parties and lifestyle parties which are pretty easy to get access to here in LA. I can honestly tell you it did not bother me. But that was in my 20's with flingy GFs who were pretty slooty.

Current GF of 3 years would NEVER go for something like that nor would she ever want to try another woman. Her most important task is to gauge her husband's interest. If she finds that he simply would not go for that setup, then it comes down to her deciding if her bi tendencies are worth her marriage in the context of having 4 kids. The marriage WILL fail if the husband disagrees, even if she convinces him to try it. She should only go forward if he actually agrees with her and keep the manipulation to a minimum. I know it's pretty normal for some in a relationship to argue their point of view, but in this context that could cost her the marriage. Good luck, it sounds complicated.

It takes a rare sort to really parse this out and make it work. With a rocky relationship and the knowledge that her husband wouldn't be gung-ho about it - there's little chance this will end well for anyone.
