I was drinking 30 oz coffee (360mg caf) and taking a 200mg caff pill before my morning lift 5am. It was dope. Got tired around 10am, took another 200mg caff pill. Crashed again around 3 so I took another. So that's around a gram of caffeine a day. I'm clean now, Iv gone through most of the withdrawals for right now. The headache lasted 5ish days, and I still feel weird. But imma jump back on when I get deep into this cut.

One time I took two doses of EC before my workout on accident and drank 30 oz of coffee. I puked lol

How can you make that assertion without knowing the tolerance and bodyweight/sex of the individual lmao.
I take upwards of 1 gram of caffeine pre-workout and at this point it gives me half of what it used to.

[QUOTE=y0lked;1491707461]the study i referenced (5mg/kg) had subjects caffeine free for 48 hours prior. But yes, and everyone reacts differently, but still >400mg sounds absolutely ridiculous.[/QUOTEd]

48 hours? Lol, strong control. Tolerance for a regular user does not go away after 48 hours. Completely deligitmizes the study imo.

fukk, I read the OP and put on a pot of coffee that has 1.5g of caffeine in it, and then read the rest of the posts and am now wondering if chugging it all is a good idea or not?

Caffeine is the only proven performance-enhancing drug not currently banned by the World Anti Drug Administration. It's generally regarded as safe from a harm-minimisation standpoint, and all athletes have equal and easy access to it (an aspect of the PED debate not often mentioned is legalising or normalising PEDs rewards wealthier athletes who an afford the best drugs and doctors - caffeine doesn't have this concern). It promotes metabolism of both glycogen and FFAs, in this respect caffeine doesn't alter the athlete's physiology in the same way PEDs tend to, which is another reason it has avoided outright ban.

It has an appreciable effect on aerobic performance - it stands to reason anaerobic performance would also benefit but I'm not sure about that and don't have time to google it up

of course it helps you perform. we're worried about the side effects of it you fool. when i take too much i can't take a deep breath, i can't yawn, harder to get a boner (those 'studies' about caffeine making you hornier are bs at least in my body), my orgasms are dulled. i can't imagine what it would be like if i took as much as you're suggesting. i wouldn't sleep properly. it's ****ing stupid. wake up to yourself op.
