Well I grew up closer to mom and sister and dad was said as "the bad guy" growing up as he cheated couple times and lot of fights etc. Didn't form a close masculine relationship with him growing up.

I think guys have become meek from a lack of social interaction and women have become more picky.

Lol I can remember one time I was at a bar watching the game, minding my own business and I glanced over to the TV to the left of me. 5 minutes later a girl comes up to me and says "why were you looking at me?" Probably cus the school system starts putting ideas in your head of men being harassers, molesters, etc and to be wary. Same thing if they're getting similar ideas of how to behave from a mother (or even a father) who isn't cognizant of the ramifications of what she's saying to her child
These are people given rhetoric and political pushes at a highly influential point in their development. That can carry into adulthood and at that point it gets harder to change.
When what you've been taught doesn't line up with what produces results.
It's easy to ditch a problem and go for other things that give some sort of reward. Water takes the path of least resistance.

It's weird cause I work in retail and many times I'm over in the women's side. So I'm talking to women, starting small talk, and sharing laughs.
Same can go for classmates, etc.
It's just that when I'm interested in a girl is when I become a bit scared. Can't get myself to flirt or ask a girl out. Probably due to me busting a nut to porn once a day.

Autismo here, even though I'm above average in looks I have zero confidence. I'm socially awkward and generally think people don't care about me. What works to my advantage is that women eat this up for some reason and think I'm "mysterious" and try their best to "figure me out".
