Yes. Mostly male board, so whatever, but I'm older and have been discriminated against in the workplace for being female more than once. Will try to cliff the most egregious:
-working for a big box home improvement place
-sales floor for the greenhouse
-ordered merchandise, unloaded/displayed merchandise, waited on customers, etc.
-was turning over the inventory successfully and corporate buyers started copying my orders for all the other stores
-was given 2 employees to "supervise" and wrote the work schedule, but wasn't made a department head...all the responsibility but no title and no raise
-people doing the same job at other stores were made department heads
-group of women in CA sued the company
-my 2 employees were taken away, but was told that I would still have support
-truck came in on my day off and my plant material was left out in the sun to burn...thousands of dollars
-took a long "lunch" because I was raging, but went back and closed
-assistant manager was busted down to department head, department head was busted down to sales floor and I was moved to cashier where I was harassed to try and get me to quit
-wouldn't quit
-black female manager was placed over front end/cashiers and she was the one that RIFed me/laid me off to get rid of me

As an Italian who's dated a few black girls in my time, especially when I was a little younger, I'll tell you, some of their parents were not too happy. Nothing extreme though.
And there was this one time in high school, when I was 16 or so, I was leaving the classroom and walking along this packed corridor when I overheard these two black girls - who were walking along right in front of me - saying "oh, such and such is dating a white boy" and the other one immediately went "that's ****ing disgusting, white boys are disgusting, etc, etc". Like they said it super loud, without a care in the world.
Technically that wasn't directed at me, nor do I consider myself exactly 'white' since I'm Italian and olive skinned but I remember being puzzled by it until the thought of what would happen if the races were reversed and they were caught saying that crossed my mind....

Not even gonna read it all but can guess at least half the thread will be Miscers that actually believed Trump was gonna be different (was one of them tbh to a certain extent), and are white and will go on about the discrimination they faced.
The fact is if ur a different colour, look, ethnicity, to the norm. You will face discrimination, on an almost daily basis. Most of it isnt harmful and I hate to say it , but it's 'natural'. If I ever get racially profiled its usually due to the types of clothes Im wearing (streetwear usually), my age and my ethnicity in clothing stores or just by employees at places in general. The one from the general public isnt that common tbh, and the aspects that are most common (old white ladies) i'm used to and see it as a normal grievance. Dont live in america and live in a very overpopulated (in general) and ethnically diverse city.
Im south asian and the 'kill myself' troop is really common all over the middle east to south asian, hell Ive heard its even common in southern europe. First time hearing it in east asian culture tbh.
The asian women self hating issue is the biggest problem for modern day asian culture. Personally I never saw asian mates as big feminists, but maybe their not the squeaky clean ones

He had to give her 70% of his monthly salary, along with his house and car as part of the divorce, despite him raising the kids all the time. Is suicidal.
- 9 male cousins, only 1 married, the rest single. Mothers brought them up to be proud feminists. Not allowed to date till they had stable careers (senior management), and a large house in a good suburb. One of them (a doctor) had a white gf in high school, mother threatened to kill herself. Been single till now, 40+, and his mother threatens to kill herself if he doesn't marry an Asian girl and produce 2 grandkids. This is the very same aunt that boasts loudly during gatherings of her daughters white boyfriends (since middle school) and white husbands (been divorced many times)

I grew up in a pretty diverse area. Been fortunate enough to not experience any discrimination throughout childhood, everyone was friendly and just chilling with each other.
The only few times I remember being discriminated was by a frequent customer from my first job. I got good work ethics, my managers love me, everyone's cool with everyone. I'm friendly and welcoming when assisting customers. But there was this one ******* that hated me the moment he saw me. Would smile and talk to everyone—except me. Literally I'm cashing this man out, trying to converse with him, and he pretty much pretends I don't exist lmao. It's cool nbd.
But then he comes back a second time and I'm already thinking, "aw ****". Was the only working the floor so I had to assist him. As I'm helping him, he starts to critique what I'm doing—he's clearly unimpressed with me. Alright, that's fine. Try to fix it but he fcking explodes and starts roasting my ass for no fcking reason. I'm in shock, the couple waiting in line's in shock, and he waddles off before I can hit him with a bag of fish.
See him again. He brings his adorable golden retriever and his dog's staring in my direction wagging his tail. This bow-legged ******* tells his dog not to look at me. Srs wtf man.
There is nothing I've done that could have incurred his hatred. He's friendly with the other staff and I'm the only Asian on the team(everyone was white except a few outliers). Logical deduction? Probably cause I'm Asian and he's probably butthurt from being ****ed over by an Asian chick in the past.

At 16ish I had a cop floor me real hard because I fit the description of someone they were looking for. Every time I tried to speak he'd call me a racial slur and knee me in the spine.
If I knew how to defend myself I would have taken whatever BS charge they strung up.
Of course the usual - at jobs/interviews. brb, they love me on the phone and when tyrone enters the building they act confused. Enter a store and you got folks following you around commenting on your tastes ignoring all other customers. lol I always bert stare them in the eye and live up to whatever stereotype they have in their head.

Yea I got messed with every day in school from 7th grade until 12th for being white. Sometimes I was the only white kid in the entire class and everyone would make comments or throw things, try to start fights, even some of the teachers would get in on it saying **** like "why u blushin russian"(I'm not Russian). It was a nightmare.

As a (proper) Brit living abroad in Bulgaria and Turkey, all the fuking time. Those places are xenophobic as fuk and try and rip you off constantly just because you are from western europe.
Living here in England, yes:
1) Worked in engineering. They asked for volunteers for grads to go back and man stands at careers fairs the uni's the came from. Obviously expenses paid trip to your uni town was rather popular. HR rejected chitloads of application from male employees while every women got to do it. Company was like 85% male and the end result was 50/50 split so the discrimination was so damn obvious. The cuck company was obsessed with being seen in the top 10 'best places to work as a women' list. Total bullchit.
2) Same company, got merits for performance (local management can sign off these) but never promoted. Other brahs in the same position. Not a single female was the same grade after 1 year past leaving the grad scheme.
3) Told to wear a tie in the fuking office with no clients around, 33deg heat while women wear sun dresses and flip flops.
4) Got screwed paywise due to my age at another engineering company. I had a degree and proper project management qual, handling the highest value projects of any other project manager and was given the most difficult clients because I could be trusted on to deliver. All the older guys with none of this earned more than I did. They actually said if they paid me more and other people found out there would be trouble. Fukers.
5) 16, could now work after school/weekend. Shop CV around and place apps for mainly electronics/computer retail places but also others (bike shop etc.) Electronics/computer retail places were basically 100% curry-cels who are notorious for looking after their own. Zero responses from those places obviously due to a Brit name.
These are the ones I know about. There are loads of situations that would obviously happen too, like taxi driving is basically exclusivity Pakistani so good luck getting a job doing that for any taxi company, even if you did you'd have to learn a new language for the radio/phone. That is what a lot of these immigrants do, they establish a critical mass somewhere and then all look after each other forcing out the Brits. We even have companies recruiting directly from Romania etc. The housing market is getting that way, Indians only selling to other Indians to make the whole road/locality Indian. It is sick to see brahs

Literally approached me, asked my name and what I was studying, told her I wasn't in school and she turned around and walked away. Tried to talk to her again like 30 minutes (and 2 beers later) and she wasn't havin it.

Yes, my disability but it never affected me and I just silently moved on. I can totally understand why they choose others over me but meh, I'm used to the mocking and all that all my life.
Also, not speaking the language (can speak a little and broken). The reaction people from my nationality says it all when I just speak English but meh.

Little did she know at the time, I was the Assistant Director of Finance for a large company making 90k/year.......at 25 years old.
One time at a pool party this chick (8.7/10) wouldn't even give me the time of day (even though I was the best looking, best shape dude there) because I wasn't in Med School.
