Yeah. Not the celibate stance exactly, but they are remaining single. Only a few though, because people don't really get married for love here. Most get married for the purpose of building a family and leaving their parents' homes.

It's frowned upon for a girl to leave home before she's married so a lot of girls get married for the freedom to live their own lives in addition to the family thing. Sometimes love is involved, but many times it is not.They are not scum. They are good men who cheat. They work hard, provide for their families, love their children and wives, and have discreet sexual relationships.

We get just as jealous, sick, raging etc. - we just haven't had the power (physical, social, legal) to act on it much of the time.

Harems used to be the most conflict-ridden, unhappy, jealousy-filled, murder (usually poisoning) filled places on earth. Plus the women still had sex with other men if they had the slightest chance; hence they castrated the guards/made them eunuchs & usually picked a different race so if they did manage to have sex with any of the women, it'd be detected in the race of any kids born.

Occasionally, with a v rich guy (or a guy who's got srs game and low self-esteem, stupid enough women) women will share, but it's usually because they're all about da money. They're still generally unhappy about it though, and it's rarely long-term.

OP, I knew a woman who said the EXACT same thing to me, while we were dating each other in college. What was the outcome? She was cheating on her ex-boyfriend with me: although she had told me that she was single. I found that she was going back and forth between me and him and lying to BOTH of us about the other. NEVER trust a woman who says that she is okay with you cheating because:
1) She is cheating on you as well
2) She has either low self esteem
3) She has no Self respect
