This is very over rated and I think most people are just jumping on a band wagon. Watching the night skies on a clear night away from the city is much better than this crap. And you can do it almost every night without a crowd.

Everyone on ******** is posting how cool this is. To me this is another example of people who are really not in touch with the universe pretending to be in touch.

What type of magnification would someone need to see that shape of the ISS?
I think I can see the light of the ISS even during the day time but it looks like just a light, one pixel.

I'm in a town that just had a total eclipse. The temp def did drop over 10 degrees and during the total eclipse, seeing that bright white "ring" light around the sun with the darken sky and then looking around was cool as fuk...it felt very "Halo"-like (video game).

Will post pics in a bit.

Nice.

We made it to Griffith Park. Nice spot...lots of people picnicking and just starting to darken. Still cars coming in.

Never know what you may get with astronomical stuff due to weather. We actually went up north to the DarkSky park awhile back and my husband just happened to glance away when the most amazing meteor flashed through.

Basically between Columbia and Camden. Some clouds here but mainly clear so it'll basically just come down to the timing of when there is cloud coverage.
