is it normal? no, not in my opinion. not for an employee who's been around one year. i actually don't think it's professional at all to take a young woman out to dinner like this for a performance eval.

your next question though "should i be worried." you tell us, pal. you know the girl better than we do. if you two are legit boyfriend/girlfriend just tell her to have a good time and talk to you after she gets out of the dinner. take it from there.

there's not much else you can do. you can't be mad at her for going or anything.
