GF is going to dinner with her boss for her 1-year performance evaluation (u wot m8)

She works as a medical assistant (MA) at his clinic. He's a cardiologist. They're going to one of the nicest places in town ($100+ per plate), which we've never been to.

Is this normal or should I be worried?

Seems unprofessional and shady to me, unless the whole office, his wife/gf and you are going as well. She might be able to hit him up with a sexual harassment suit though, so that could lead to some dough.

I've heard of this in small companies so if he runs his own small office and isn't at a hospital or big partnership, it seems normal, even just a 1 on 1 dinner. As long as he did this with his other employees too.
