Self improvement is a meme
anyone remember that brah who spent a ton of time daily playing some obscure flute, writing motivational quotes on his walls and drinking oobely-boo tea? Chit was nuts.

Great thread OP. I made sure I watched the video at 3.5x normal youtube speed to maximize productivity.
Also made sure I speed read through all the comments and got the full meaning while still preserving my precious time.
Now I am off to the barber shop to get a number 2 shave to minimize wind resistance when walking on the treadmill.

audio books at 3x speed lol... or just read the book and you can still finish one/week + you get increased vocabulary that audio books fail to deliver

I remember someone made this exact fuking thread a few months ago with all this cringy chit on "how every man should start his day". Legit some of the most retarded things i've ever heard. How about going to lift, coming back and showering ,eating, relax for a few minutes either reading or watching tv or "meditating" and then head to work. I don't see the need for people to dramatize fuking waking up.
I REP HELPFUL POSTS

Sounds similar to my morning routine:
-Wake up every day at 3:30am
-Win powerlifting competition
-Reach transcendence
-Get dressed while showering
-Listen to audiobooks at 10x playback speed
-Commute by train. Jump on train while it's going to minimize wait on platform.
-In the office by 5am, walk 20 miles

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

I actually believe in similar stuff to this. I used to wake up every morning at 6 during college, never snooze, nothing. Would go to the gym to lift, afterwards I would run 5-8 miles, then come home and take an ice cold shower and class/eat.
I was in the best physical and mental shape of my entire life by far. Thinking was super clear, memory was excellent, everything.

Nah bro, I'm sweet. Wake up at 8am crew. Working out any earlier than like 2pm sounds awful. If you want to wake up early go for it, but it isn't some magic success formula.

Wake up around 930.take a **** for like 40 min while watching Netflix or YouTube on my tablet. Take a shower. Have some coffee. Make breakfast or stop for a breakfast sandwich. Go to work.
I just don't function in the morning. I'd rather stay up extra late then wake up extra early.
Edit: my hours are usually 1130-8.

Cliffs
-Wakes up every day at 4:30am
-Works Out
-Meditates
-Showers/Get Dressed
-Plugs in headphones and listen to audiobooks at 3x playback speed
-Gets through a book per week
-Commutes by train, uses app to minize wait on platform. Arrives seconds earlier
-In the office by 7am, walks 4-5 miles while at work before 9:45am
The rest is variable. Feel free to post your own morning routines and critique others. I would like to make this a self improvement brah thread

I set my alarm 45 minutes early to allow for a double-snooze, double-power-nap of about 20mins each. I get up, brush my teeth while taking a chit for maximum time efficiency. I eat, shower, and go to work.
