They need a Batman vs Joker trilogy. With Zach Snyder directing it won't matter who the actors are.

Gyllenhall needs to be working on that "Nightcrawler" sequal. Nomsayin?

Jake would def be better as a villain...

Few actors for Batman that come to mind:
Phillip Winchester
Jon Hamm
Karl Urban possibly

They had Batman and Robin with nipples.

I'm super down to see Jon Hamm play Batman. I've been excited for the idea ever since his detective role in The Town. As far as stories go...I'm legit surprised they haven't done the Death in the Family storyline. That would make an awesome movies series. I understand the Under the Red Hood animated movie exists. But not many have seen it and the live action version could prove compelling.

I think biggest problem with Ben's Batman is that DC gave people no time with the character before throwing him into a movie with Superman and now with Justice League.

That's likely because like superman that character is well known. There's certainly been enough Batman movies to fill his solo quotient.

I think the best actors become something you couldn't imagine them becoming. Like Gary Oldman in "Hannibal". Didn't know he was in that movie until about a good decade after its release.

It's not about the actor playing it, they should fix the shoddy scripts and directing first.

The movies is not always the result of the director. He's just anemployeeand can have his chain yanked at any time; and scripts are torn apart by default. Were does the buck stop? See producers.

Hm.. I was really disappointed with it tbh, Watchmen is my favourite graphic novel. I think it must have challenging adapt. I didn't like the pacing, how characters were developed, casting choices, the amount of dialogue they had to cut by necessity, removal of rhyme of the ancient mariner comic within a comic, changing of ending, etc.
Even so Watchmen, Sin City, and 300 followed the graphic novels extremely close, better than most movie adaptations of books. All 3 movies were pretty good too IMO
