He IS a plumber. That's why he did it for me for free. Lmfao and yes, he does that for our whole friend group.

When I have a problem, I don't ask friends to solve them for me at less than fair market price. I hire somebody or I do it myself.

If he feels like he owes you, then that might explain it. However, I suspect he probably paid you 3 months of rent, which you are conveniently not mentioning.

Sometimes I'm not sure if miscers are trolling or srs.

I know several girls who have long term male friends. Out of those, there's probably 2 guy friends that I can tell want to phuck them, and the others either have gf's or don't care. One girl I know has been friends with a guy for about 8 years and I see them regularly go out (in a group) on snapchat. Most of these girls also already have bf's but a couple are single.

FWIW it's probably more common for girls who are teenagers to early 20s when you're actively social. If you're married your time is going towards your house, spouse, and kids. But hanging out on college campuses or around town I see mixed groups all the time.

Totally possible, although understandably uncommon. One of my best friends for years is a female and we've never taken it farther physically. I just think neither of us is particularly attracted to the other. It's not that I would be repulsed by the thought of hooking up with her, I just never had a desire to take it there that was close to overpowering my desire to not make things awkward between us.

Most common scenario would be a work acquaintance where its basically manners and reciprocity passing as friendship. Next would be a one sided friendship due to lopsided attraction. Then there would be group scenario where there happens to be girls. It is possible, but probably the least likely. Who knows, maybe you grew up together and developed a real friendship or something but then they take on the role of 'little sister'. You only make true friends riding bmx everyday for years.

Most of you live in cultures where sex and relationships are the be all and end all. So social circumstances revolve around that. Are we in a relationship? No, not worth it. Are we phucking? No, not worth it.

However live in a more conservative culture, and you'll find yourself or the people you're with not trying to bang at every minute and just wanting to build rapport. Maybe there's chemistry and it leads to something, maybe there's none so it leads to nothing. But you stay in touch because connections are important for connections' sake.

If it's one sided of course it's harmful in the long run but when women aren't walking bags of sexual empowerment it's very easy to not lust after them.

I would secretly lust after most of my UK female acquaintances who weren't part of a social circle because they would walk around with their tits hanging out, or talk openly about sex & dating, or even flirt with you for attention. And I knew they were highly sexualised individuals because well, it's the UK.

Here girls dress more conservatively, don't flirt with you even if they actually like you, never talk about sex or dating openly, and they only have sex with boyfriends/boyfriend candidates so you have to date her to get anywhere. You don't talk to a woman and think "this woman takes a new dick every week, I want a piece of that".
