1) he looks more full and healthy than normal, look at his cheek bones and overall facial shape compared to other pictures. Also the lack of eyeliner just makes him look more frail and depleted when he infact is the opposite.
2) okay.... so he had a bad breakup and drank vodka in the mornings sometimes? I think many men have had bad breakups and done stupid things with alcohol as a cope for the depression, i mean damn the man was married to her and she was a solid 8.5-9/10 and half his age.
3) most actors are lonely because of their crazy schedules, travel, and constant attention when they go out of their door. Most famous people don't have a lot of strong genuine friends because it is a major pain to spend time with them with that schedule and attention(my aunt and uncle are writers/directors/producers of multiple movies and in the inner LA/hollywood/santa monica circle)
4) He was boasting about spending 30k a month on wine, doubt he is really THAT broke and the dude will be seeing royalty checks for quite a long time and can make millions anytime he wants.

just a story spun to make things seem completely worse than they actually are.

Finally her plate is empty and this is the part that really ****ing weirded me out. She looks around to check no one (but me) is looking, then slides the plate under her jacket and walks out.

I was just astounded, it was pretty surreal

I can easily see how it happened. If you have the wrong people around you and aren't interested in checking account balances yourself, there is a whole hidden world of leeches in that industry that can drain your bank account pretty quickly. It's happened to many others before him. It'll happen to many others after him. Actors aren't exactly rocket surgeons, despite what they might think of themselves.

I've heard so many stories from randoms, comedians, musicians, and other actors, about how insanely generous, down to earth, and cool depp has ALWAYS been. He was and is a guy that just wanted to have a good time, never out to hurt anyone, and always looking out for his friends and even people he didn't know.

Sadly I think this is an instance where sobriety is a serious must...

One really cool story I heard from a comedian: comedian was selling steaks and chit door to door for steaks of omaha or whatever. Buzzes, someone answers but doesn't say anything. So he goes into his speech and all that. The com box disconnects, and the gate opens. The comedian starts to repeat his sale and Mr. Anderson stops him, hands him a blank check, signed, and made out to the company. The comedian asks what he would like for his order.
