I once saw a shooting star during broad daylight that was extremely bright and was colored green. It was one of the very few times in my life where my jaw dropped and was left with a sense of awe.

First time I saw Jupiter through a decent pair of binoculars I nearly chit my pants. You feel so small once you realize how big it has to be for you to see it from 588 gotdamn million miles away.

People’s homes floating down the Delaware River after a hurricane, and some of them getting stuck under bridges.

Also, hurricane related, had a small creek going they the backyard of the first home I bought. It would usually dry out a good part of the year as well. Hurricane came and that dry creek turned into raging river rapids. Hitting all my neighbor’s houses and going around mine. They had 4 feet of water in their basements, I ended up with just a couple gallons, that I cleaned up with a shop vac.

Damn you reminded me. Around 2003 (not longer after the last cleaning/restoration) i got a private tour of the Sistine Chapel. I legit got to lay down on the floor and star up at the ceiling/walls for like 15 minutes. Was epic. All those amazing paintings by every famous artist you can imagine lining the hall on the way to the chapel... amazing too.

Kayak'ing down my parents street in Houston when Harvey hit... chit was intense. They live next to a reservoir so all the deer that had gotten displaced by the water were trapped in the neighborhood. I ended up walking up on like 6 doe and 4-5 bucks all cornered in a fenced in area. That was the first time in my life I've ever seen a group of animals absolutely in panic mode. First time ever seen highways completely turn into tributaries.

Saw a big ass red ball from outer space come towards earth. I was in middle school driving with my dad. We were like holy chit that’s landing in that neighborhood, check the news later on and it landed in the ocean more than 200 miles from us

Sun was setting in Florida and I was out in a one man kayak i owned. A group of dolphins came over and started surfacing nearby. It was perfectly quiet and still.

On the other end of the spectrum something very bad happened. You guys enjoy your violent video games and tv shows. They dont come close to simulating the horror in real life not even 1/10th of it.

Saw a woman losing her chit in LA in the back of a cop car who had obviously been doing some serious drugs, prob bathsalts or something. She literally sounded possessed, like it didnt sound like the voice coming from her mouth could have been anything but a demon. There was nothing human about it.

Me and a few other people watched her first try to kill herself banging her head against the glass, then take a chit in the back of the squad car, all while she's screaming stuff nobody can understand in beezlebub's voice.

Seeing some of the mountain ranges and canyons in southern Utah... So cool, like being on a different planet.
Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.

The day I started looking up. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This occurs on a daily basis and people think it is normal. Hardly ever see a clear blue sky, the sun, sunset and sunrise.

And what left me in awe, was people thought this was normal cloud patterns,
