We have already confirmed you are poverty. You post questions asking about your chances of getting a poverty job paying 80k, you post affordability questions on mid range vehicles. You challenged me to compare paystubs with you - next year, but won't post your current year because you are making 60k a year tops and you goal is to pick up as much overtime as possible in the next year to try and measure up. LMFAO, stay in your lane brah.

I had a C6 Z06 for a few years. Ive had faster straight line cars, but it was hands down the best overall performing car I have had.

If you are worried more about what image a car projects then what happens when you stick your foot in it then its probably not the car for you.

lmao buddy, it doesn't make sense for me to go through the effort of setting up a bet. lol @ wanting to start a bet with 1 month in the year left. Who gives a chit. If you want to go through the effort of making one for 2019, i'll take itBut guess what, there is no way to ban your dumbass with a net income bet, because pay stubs only give 1 part of the net income equation.

Just worry about getting a better car if you're going to start a thread about one that obliterates yours

I won't argue this. Given the performance if you want a track machine, there is value.

Corvette, Camaro, Challenger, etc are too rugged for most people. Most want BMW, Audi, Or Mercedes because of the creature comforts and refinement. There's also the badge snobs, which is funny because German cars aren't reliable at all. American cars you're seen as a redneck hillbilly even with top of the line Zr1. German cars you're seen as a civilized classy person, even with a base model 325i

What op doesn't seem to understand is that some car guys don't really care about luxury. Yes I want good looking interior in my Z06, but performance matters the most along with reliability.

In agreement!!! I have daddy issues when it comes to corvettes because my dad has a small collection and has an obsession with them and he can fuk himself and his cars

agree but they mostly own base corvettes.

if we talking Z06 or Zr1 then wrong.

story time,

I saw a brand new C7(when they had just been release) spin out and crash.
a audi S4 had pull up next to the old guy and was revving it at him.
it was raining, the C7 does a burn out on the rain, loses traction, hits the audi and spins crossing to the other side lane, hits two cars and continuous to spin and hits another car and finally stops by hitting a light pole.
damaged everywhere.
old man in his 60s gets out and starts kicking his car
I just pulled next to him, made eye contact, shook my head and kept driving

Performance, Luxury, Reliability - these are the metrics used in car buying. Everyone will prioritize. For me it is Luxury>Performance>Reliability. I primarily care about it being nice, comfy with all the options, and still fun to drive. FOr this reason I would never drive a 325 or any non-turbo bmw, that isn't a real bmw. Some people only care about reliability and mileage. Some only care about going fast. Different strokes.

But some people who prioritize performance will have good taste and go GTR or something, and some will be hillbillies.

Have sat or driven the new Corvette? How can someone take you serious if you haven't done either?

What do you think about the up coming mid engine Corvette?

Hillbilly machines. They can be comfy, fast and reliable but driving a Corvette is like driving a John Deere tractor down the street, regardless of the details. Just lol.

You pulled up and shook your head?

You sound like the stereotypical averagcel. Work 9-5 in a cubicle, nothing going on in life besides wife and kids, maybe a few trips to Disney, Mexico, or Hawaii. Over all no excitement because you're too 'civilized' and laugh at people who buy fast cars or motorcycles for enjoyment

Stick to bowling and golf threads, that's more your lane buddy boy

Answer the question. Have you sat or driven the new Corvette?

The new C7 is a HUGE, HUGE upgrade in every department.

I like corvettes. You do know people buy vettes because LS engines are some of the best in the business right? And you also realize that people who are 50 years and older grew up knowing the LS is the best, period? So naturally, when they can afford one they want the best. The vette has a great history.

I owned a cts-v coupe for a few years and it is such a no brainer to bolt on extra horsepower. I'm sure you're trolling OP but lmao.

CTSVs are legit for an American car and I respect them. Look beastly too. They don't have a rep for being an old guy machine, but every other Cadillac made does.

Not the corvette I was expecting

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

For the record I bought the V because its the corvette engine w/o the stigma lol. Plus I just took all the badges off of it because I don't like to be too flashy.

I sold it for a Benz and people think I'm driving a more expensive car because it's a Benz... I absolutely hate it. Selling it ASAP.

LMAO I can respect and understand that. The V is a legit car and IMO much more eyecatching. A car guy will know whats up when they see one, but a Vette doesn't really get a second glance.
