Let’s talk about Corvettes

Corvettes scream 2 things:

1. Old guy

2. Hillbilly-esque guy whose every other word is “liberal” and has a goatee, most likely deer head on the wall at home. Has been promoted to trade manager of some sort and buys his stay at home wife Michael Kors bags. Most likely dips.


They aren’t bad looking and have great performance, but lol at ever owning one. Prefer to go with premium German cars that don’t scream double digit IQ

A lot of people who buy Corvettes are blue collar workers who use their life savings. Nothing wrong with that, as many of these workers work the big 3 and are car enthusiasts. Probably more knowledgeable about their vehicle than Mr. CEO who drives an S550.

The stereotype of blue collar workers driving Corvettes does damage the brand image a bit, but I think it's overlooked, as most people are convinced that the corvette is an amazing, all-american sports car for an amazing price.

I love Corvettes. I've owned 3 in the past. 2 C3's and an early C4. Call them poverty but they were all fun as hell to drive and great looking cars as well. I eventually stopped that hobby as I personally find summer sports cars are a waste of money. But I sometimes miss having a Vette.

If you think a 435 with every available option is 44k then lol. But like I said, if performance was the only thing I cared about I still wouldn’t buy a Vette.
