Most people just don't understand how someone could refuse to fall in line like all the robots and still manage to "make it".

Thought this was a Testifier thread when I read the title. I should have known it wasn't since there was no "LA" mention in the thread, or "boyo" in the text.

Other than Nordstrom, I don't know anyone who makes less than 50K and wears a suit.
Maybe some door to door sales guys. That's it.

IMO Jean's are fine as long as they are nice, no holes etc, and they should always have nice a nice shirt, belt and nice shoes (ie no sneakers or athletic shoes)

My example of everyone wearing suits in wpo and ypo are people all making millions and running companies.
From my perspective the cube cells look to be you guys but I guess itโs all dependent from where you are standing.
Making fun of people in suits is pure new money cope. Once people transition into old money status they will think different.

I work in a pretty formal industry and I've never ever worn a suit except for client meetings. A simple color t-shirt (white/baby blue) and a nice necktie is all you need.

In my company only the people who don't make the big bucks get to do casual friday.
All of the highest grossing employees are required to wear suits every day.
Not a salary thing, just a position thing.

As a matter of fact many people ITT have chimed in with supporting accounts. Sorry to disappoint you brahNot really Iโm a chef who wears legit waterproof pajama pants and is always comfy as fuk. The suit wearers would like to project the image of success, but we know they are spinning on hamster wheel harder than anyone.

True. The only people I see wearing suits to work are lawyers or executives... or guys working sales at suit stores.
My last job was 100% casual everyday. My new job is casual mostly but they want us to dress somewhere between business casual when meeting with clients. I actually took a pay cut for this job too.

In some industries you can get away with wearing a hoodie (especially in tech), while in others you're expected to wear a suit. There isn't much relation to income.
