But there's no value in the biological aspect of having a kid that's biologically yours vs one that isn't.
I think people place irrational value on the value of having kids overall, I think people feel peer pressured into it largely, be that consciously or unconsciously.
Two reasons a person may decide to have kids -
#1. Social reasons, their friends have kids, they wanna start a family, etc...
#2. To pass on their genes
The former is fine, if you want to have kids, if you believe they will make your life happier and your partners life happier, go for it.
The latter is a ridiculous reason. Why would someone want kids simply to pass on their genes? To what end? How does that do anything of worthwhile value? It's not like having kids does anything to increase your life span, you die and it's game over. "Oh, but my genes live on"... so? There's literally no value there to the passer of the genes, and even if there were value in passing down your genes, which there isn't. Those genes will get watered down in a few generations, and your input will be irrelevant. And even if your input was relevant, whatever that means... what does it matter, why does it matter?
I think people have kids for wrong reasons, and reasons that revolve around mental weakness... having kids because they feel pressured to, which is a mental weakness.
It makes entire sense to me why a large percentage of smarter people, relative to not so smart people have fewer kids.
It may be the case that intelligence is a bad thing for evolution. To which you'll think "Fuk it's bad for evolution, therefore intelligent people should have kids."... still no, intelligent people likely don't care about "the goal of evolution", not that evolution is an entity, but you get the point.
Simply put, intelligent people do what they want, so do not so intelligent people. The difference is what their wants are.
Fak U say? Cheeky kent ya, i'll fakin fak ya, ya lil sloot

Educated women are more feminist ergo educated people have less children. Men may have to settle with finding some dumb bimbo to knock up.

How old are you?
Do you love your family, your mom?
All of my family had blue eyes. When I meet someone with blue eyes, I'm happy.
Never had a girl with blue eyes for some weird reason, but that would make me love her more.
My ex couldn't have kids. She has a niece that looks just like her. It's like a miracle.
It's amazing to see people who are your family and they look like it. I guess if you don't care about your family or come from and ethnic group where everyone are clones, then it wouldn't matter.
I no longer NEED that and most kids really like me, so I'd be happy, as long as I loved the woman, but I'd be super happy with my own kid.

Smart people understand the tremendous financial and long-term responsibility that they will incur upon having a child and raising it to the best of their abilities. So rather than having children, they hand over half of their income, and much of their time, towards people who have children with little concern for the children’s care and well being.
This, of course, is a model bound to fail.

It is simply too dangerous to have a family unless you are 100% certain you've found the right woman. Even then, society has conditioned women to seek a divorce at even the slightest inconvenience and just have you pay for them and the kids until the kids are of legal age.
If the government just stayed out of families lives then we'd probably see a healthy increase in birth rates.

There's no such thing as "the state" because it's a revolving door of new people coming and going. I believe it's driven by the psychology of people.
Anyway, I work with criminals and have noticed a huge change in women since I was a kid. When I was a kid women would get angry at a guy and call their dad, brother, etc to talk to the guy. Now, they call the cops if they're angry at a guy, make stuff up, file charges, and get PFAs against men who made them angry.
Daily, I meet guys who did nothing and get serious charges filed against them, and will spend time in jail, only to have the charges dropped by the woman. Nothing happens to the women. The guys being "in love" will do nothing and go back to the woman, mostly, and so it's like a giant family argument with the woman pulling the government into the situation like a standin dad.
I believe the media, in the 70s and 80s, had a plot to destroy families by promoting a negative type of feminism. That then created an increased demand for government to take over the role of family.
If you look at the black community in the US, it's pretty clear. The psychology of that is that black families got destroyed by slavery. Women hated the men for not protecting them, that made women chase away men, and caused families to disappear. So, all food, healthcare, housing, etc is provided by the government.
The above is official stuff I've read about the psychology of minorities, not something I made up.

The media pushes depression and I don't know if it's a plot to demoralize people or just because it's run by perverts, but it affected me and made me not want a family and kids.
Don't let that happen to you.

I mean, we can't collectively bitch about it as Miscers when most people here are on that no kids no marriage time.

I mean....I consider myself fairly intelligent. I don't have the greatest job or make the most money, but my son wants for nothing, and I'm still happy in my decision to have him, even if my marriage didn't work out. I don't want more children, I'm good with just one because I want to be able to provide him the best possible life within my means.

Intelligence isnt a factor of genetics. My mom dropped out of school at 11, dad dropped out at 14. Theyre from a poor country in Europe and came to america in their twenties. Now my two older brothers are engineers and so am I.

A lot of people have realized kids are too risky to have - mostly men. It's a chain of bondage to a woman who will most likely rake you over the coals for child support.
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.
