This, except I'm not sure exactly how badly he'd lose a general election against Trump if it actually somehow came down to those two. A LOT of liberals/Democrats I know seem to be pretty supportive of endless Bernie/AOC government style handout freebies, regardless of how absurd the ideas may be in reality. I've been hearing people chirp about this Yang and his "1k a month for everyone over 18" rhetoric.

But in all seriousness, I don't understand how anyone can support a candidate like that unless they're mentally challenged somehow. It doesn't take an economics expert to understand how insane that kind of concept is in reality. There are about 252,000,000 legal adults in the U.S., so multiple that by 1k and you're looking at $252,000,000,000 /month, or $3,024,000,000,000 /year. So literally over $3 trillion PER YEAR to fund such a program. You could confiscate every cent from the current net worth of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates combined, and it would still be well short of what would be required just for one month's worth of funding for it... yet people are saying this guy's political concepts aren't loony? Lol, I mean come on, at SOME point you have to question how you'd pay for all this crap. That $3 trillion figure isn't even including the other countless entitlement programs already on the books, not to mention the "free" universal healthcare and college they want to add to the bill as well.

The current wave of desires by liberal socialists (Bernie, AOC, now this Yang guy, etc.) have absolutely zero basis in reality regardless of how you look at it. Speaking strictly in terms of current legal citizens on the books, the U.S. is estimated to have a little over 252 million legal adult citizens. That's 252,000,000,000 per month... 252 BILLION per month. Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates, the 2 wealthiest people in America, could combine their full current net worth and they'd fall short of covering just 1 month of that program. It'd be over 3 trillion per year. The current defense budget authorizes under $700 billion per year, so how exactly are you going to come up with $3 trillion by cutting from the military budget that already falls well short of that?

None of that is to mention the fact that the Democrats and liberals in general decided to freak out when Trump said he wanted to pull out of Syria and Afghanistan and set up a path for pulling out of Iraq. Nope, the liberals now say that we must indefinitely stay in the wars in the middle east, but we're supposed to now drastically slash the military budget to fund a universal basic income entitlement program that's annual cost would FAR outweigh the full current defense budget? None of this is even considering all the other entitlement programs already in place, let alone the "free" healthcare and college liberals are insisting on now. The Loony Tunes and Disney movies are more realistic than these entitlement programs they want to enact.

If only those that work get it... it’s not universal basic income
Those on welfare get pretty much the same if not more? Idk but according to another miscer they’d get some until wellfare + UBI = 1000

Either way I find it ridiculous. It’s like some social experiment and I don’t think we would be there even if he tried. There can be a better solution with time.

Adding, this system would need stricter immigration laws possibly including the wall, so... Idk if dems would let him when that’s associated with trump

The memes are funny, but the rich lobbyists and powerful people that own our society and totally aren't Jewish would never allow the chinaman to give poor/unemployed white men $1000 a month. Imagine Richard Spencer or David Duke meeting the requirements to receive that 1k a month. Do you genuinely believe they're gonna get that money? Or free health care even? Get real.

The alleged non-interest in Israel and foreign military intervention may even be more laughable than the previous policies he claims to believe in.

what stats are you looking at ? They make up 1% of the population, and their women are interracial marrying at the highest rates of all races. just cause you see a ton of them in NY and LA doesn't mean there's a ton of them around the country

He has some good ideas, I mean, the more automation takes away jobs, the more we're going to have to figure out what people can do for work.

However, his stance on firearms is legit retarded.

Then to combat the loss in productivity, you automate everything and let big corps monopolize further and tax them? uwot?

Can only see massive inflation, taxation, or huge corporate capitalism with little chance for small businesses. Can also see more drug addictions. It's just socialism.

Either 4Chan is running a huge OP to get him nominated and turn, or is actually succumbing to the NEET style.

Unless I'm mistaken it wouldn't be 2 trillion because it would come in the form of a tax refund. I could be wrong though.

Now the 4 billion to Israel doesn't count the amount of money we spend on wars in the region largely for their benefit and it also doesn't count the military technology development that we give them which they in turn sell to other countries.

None of it really matters though because the Democrats are going to run someone like Biden and we'll be stuck with the same ole chit no matter who wins. I'm sorely disappointed in Trump because I was so convinced he would be different
