Should I get a 15? Cause my father built his own ar 10 .308 and said that’s the way to go..

I really don’t want anything long range though.

I really don’t want anything long range though.
AR10s shoot a more expensive round specifically to be able to shoot further.

If you're shooting inside a few hundred yards, an AR is going to be a much more enjoyable shooter.

It always surprises me the Grendel isn't more popular in the AR15 platform. I've got one, and other than the shi++y mags available for it, it's a sweet round.
