Yes, it is.

If all things about the two people are the exact same, you are not better. You're moving the target by adding caveats and things like "likely better" when you originally said just a few posts above that you ARE better.

I changed it to likely better because even with me making better choices than someone who doesn't exercise/watch their diet, my genetic blueprint could have me encountering cancer at 40 years old regardless of my life choices and someone who smokes/drinks all of their life could make it to 100+.

But odds are indisputably that I am likely better off health-wise than someone who doesn't watch their diet/exercise. I am making better choices for my health than them so yes, I am better than them in that regard.

Definitely over 50% of the girls I used to find attractive while I was in middle school / high school have gained an egregious amount of weight! Some already have kids too (one specifically has 4 kids by now!). From my perspective right now, it feels like I dodged a bullet by not dating (or in some cases, even attempted to date) those girls. The ones that are still aesthetic are all pretty superficial, with primarily pics/vids on social media of them in full makeup, giving the exact same smile, and wearing expensive clothing / jewelry, and very very few of them have actually good paying and demanding jobs, or even a degree.

EDIT: Also it's crazy how many of those girls (including the ones that are still pretty attractive) are posting pics/statuses relating to depression and their on-going problems.

How would this thread fit in the overall 'healthy lifestyle' you promote? In mine it reads as incredibly childish.
Yep I get your point, I was just talking in general. Of course you can go the other way needlessly and constantly belittling people to feel superior or to mend painful memories of rejection.

Some value systems are just better than others. My values can be fortnite and nachos while someone else’s can be traveling the world and fitness. Wonder whose is better???

Good then we agree, he isn’t better based on what he values over others some it’s subjective. Appreciate the confirmation...

Thread backfire. But I agree with OP.

I'm in my 30s, in a E European country. The large majority of people my age are a combination of bald and fat. Absolutely every one of them eats like ****. I get not having time to work out in your 30s (even though it's a bit BS imo), but at least eat something healthy every now and then.

I am 36. I've noticed that around age 30 many are getting married and having kids. For others, by mid 30s years of alcohol/drug abuse become obvious. Some OD and others commit suicide because they keep failing to clean up. With each death that is posted on ******** others comment about their own substance abuse struggles and how hard it is to get/stay clean. Every person is remembered for being funny, beautiful, smart, and an all around amazing person...regardless of what they were really like. Many females that I thought were hot in high school are undatable. I don't know most of these people very well but the stories constantly appear in my newsfeed due to having so many mutual friends.

As for getting in shape, yes a lot of people are lazy, most of my friends don't do any knd of sports already. Most people just don't want to or make excuses.

U can't really deny the fact that obesity and overweight percentages have been going up for a long time now. And to be fair, alot of successful people are in decent shape.

The older you are the less your physique matters, it's priorities and nothing more.

As long as your health is good career, family, acquiring assets and saving money is more important.

At the end of the day those people are just a cut away from being fit for normy standards + a few hours in the gym each week.

What a strange thread to make.

Yes, most people “let themselves go” more and more as they age.
And yes, if you put in the time and discipline to stay in shape, you will be very glad that you did, especially as you get older.
This is not new information.

OP just sounds like an enormous douche bag.

I went to a 10 year high school reunion a few years ago. Chit was so lulzy. I can't even imagine being a movie star in good shape, going back to one of those things. Chris Evans was probably mobbed. Id guess better than 75% of adults let themselves go by age 30 when the marriage/kids thing starts happening in droves. It's easy to stand out in your 30's if you are youthful looking and in good shape...doesn't even take that much effort outside of an hour at the gym daily and a decent diet. People are just eating their feelings and lazy for the most part.

There's no legitimate excuse for looking like a slob, but when you're young, it doesn't take much effort to be fit and not be overweight. I used to eat whatever the fuark I wanted in high school and still looked fit. These days if I add a bit more mayo or cheese to my food I start blowing up.
