2 years is faaaaaar longer than most would wait. I had an acquaintance die. He was married for 4 years, together for 7. A couple months later a bunch of his old friends get together and I see his widow.

My buddy's corpse was still warm when she hopped back on the dink carousel. Something for the marriage crew to think on. Most women can move on like nothing.

It's one thing if he randomly died or died of a disease.

It's completely another thing when he kills himself. He left his wife and daughters alone thinking he would rather be dead than be with them. He abandoned them. Of course she is going to move on. She probably found someone that was a joy to be around. Imagine having a husband and father constantly fighting depression and being down while you and the kids think, "do we not make you happy? What about us?"

Glad she moved on.

I'm not going to act like I know anything about the dynamics of their relationship, but 2 years seems plenty of time for a middle aged gal who has many kids. If it comes out that there was infidelity involved before Benningtom's suicide then sure, get up in arms about things. But we don't know that.
