This is consistent with the paper trail of her described behavior during another public incident that was documented online last year so I'm taking it at face value at this point.

I agree with you 100% that the other family wouldn't let it go and did hear the verbal threat toward the husband, but "not letting it go" goes both ways. That threatening remark is going to be Karen's only saving grace for a plausible justification argument if this goes to trial. Pulling a gun because somebody slapped your car isn't going to fly anywhere that I'm familiar with, and MI statute appears to read that all assaults with a firearm are an automatic felony.
The rachet lady and daughter were going in the restaurant. They aborted that mission and instead followed the couple to their car. The couple didn't stay at the door to have a shouting match. They were trying to leave. The rachet lady wouldn't let them. It was her account of the incident where I read the details of the initial incident. Either she posted them on twitter or it was in the first article on the story that was linked. Nevertheless, it's pretty obvious that the couple weren't the instigators. The rachet lady would not have led off with "excuse you?!" if she sensed it was deliberate. She knew it wasn't. If it had been, she'd have been dropping F bombs and racist slurs from the beginning. They were coming in and 100% oblivious to the couple leaving. The lady bumped the daughter. She was irritated that the daughter didn't make an effort to get out of the way or leave her space, so she likely passive-aggressively decided not to say "excuse me" as her punishment. We've all be in this situation. Oblivious people irritate you because they do not follow social convention and they believe rules don't apply to them. So you bite your lip and have minimal contact with them (e.g. hausfraus at the grocery store blocking the aisle because they're too busy gossiping). If the rachet lady had said nothing, it would have ended there. The rachet lady couldn't help herself. Despite being in the wrong, she had to demand an apology. I'm sure the lady dropped the first FU bomb right there in response. I would have. Not a crime. Now the rachet lady's ego is invested and she can't let it go. So she decides to video the encounter and try and bait Karen into saying or doing something that she can post to social media for likes, views, and BLM cred.

What is know is that all people involved are retarded with Karen being the queen retard and the husband being a retard for marrying somsone so fkn stupid.
Regardless if the mom was standing there or not, again... they both ran to the car while one of them was threatening to beat her ass. Had the car drove off at that point, there’s no telling what would’ve happened. We don’t really know where the mother was positioned when she started running at the car... if she was hugging it and the car drove off, she could’ve been severely injured.. which would still look bad. If they pulled forward and back, the two would’ve caught up to the car and been all over it. The entire thing happened very quickly. The only argument I can agree with is she should’ve stayed in the vehicle but LMAO miscers act like they would make perfect decisions in very heated situations like this.

Wait. Wot? He lost his job?! On what conceivable grounds? This chit's gotta stop. We're so far out in the twilight zone now that nothing makes rational sense.

That's what she told 911 she believed, but I haven't heard an allegation that there was any actual property damage, and MI's statutes don't make for easy reading, but most states frown on you introducing a deadly weapon over misdemeanor property crimes.

Don’t know if you’ve seen this longer version but they clearly run at her car while threatening to beat her ass. I highly doubt Karen pulled out a gun simply because her car was smacked.
This is the one I saw. It doesn't show the bolded part at all. As far as I know, we only have the other woman's version of how it started at this point.

Also, plain as day, the context for her threatening remark and slapping the car there is that she accuses the woman of intentionally trying to run her over. There's not really a strong interpretation of that set of facts for "she was trying to protect herself so she jumped out and pointed guns at them",butthere's plenty of room to argue over who was able to hear what and what they believed was happening. "I thought she was trying to run me over", "I thought she was trying to damage my car", etc. Karen has a decent chance to beat the charge, but also a decent chance of not beating it.

It was really, really stupid to get back out of the car with guns. I do think she might have gone uncharged if it weren't for the husband being police. Most guys would reflexively insist if somebody pulled a gun on their wife and daughter.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

The rachet lady (or her daughter... I'm not sure which) positioned themselves behind the car so the car couldn't leave. If somebody is preventing you from leaving, you have to ask yourself why? What's their goal? That goal has been obvious for 5 weeks on the evening news. That's why the gun was drawn. Karen has seen time and time again that the police are not interested in protecting anybody right now. She's pregnant. She's worried about a physical altercation that could lead to a miscarriage. She did what she had to do and I don't think any sane jury would convict her of anything. Her pulling the gun was a last resort and was used to de-escalate. The guy driving couldn't do anything. If he'd gotten out, he wouldn't have been allowed to defend himself against a couple of rachet females because we live in a world where men cannot ever lay a finger on a woman without having their lives ruined.

Instead of leaving, they voluntarily enter an escalated situation..since now the mom was nearly hit and angry.
She pulled out gun and fukt up her and her husbands lives bc an old lady slapped her vehicle...fkn lol. You have a weak case for self defense if you say you feared for your life when you voluntarily exited your vehicle and confronted a hostile situation instead of staying in your vehicle and leaving.
It does matter because it helps show intent, also it showed that she didn't pull out a gun because she was some rabid racist that wanted to shoot for no reason like they were trying to drag her for.

- Yeah, it would be dumb if she did it JUST FOR THAT, but that wasn't the case. As I've said numerous times, she was being rushed and threatened. Yes she could've stayed in the car (this may be the thing that fuks her), but I don't fault her for that chit, especially in the heat of the moment.
You have a weak case for self defense if you say you feared for your life when you voluntarily exited your vehicle and confronted a hostile situation instead of staying in your vehicle and leaving.
Her defense could be she felt she couldn't go anywhere or else it would've lead to even more injuries. When the lady claimed to have gotten hit by the car and slaps it, the car stops. The driver didn't want to continue going because that wouldn't look good (again, hindsight). People tend to do dumb chit when others are trying to drive off from these type of situations like grabbing parts of the car, jumping at the vehicle, try to stop the vehicle from leaving. This probably isn't a good defense in court, but I can see why they felt they couldn't just drive off... especially since in the beginning of the video, it's at least shown they have some sense of care (enough to apologize even when they felt like it wasn't their fault). Driver didn't want to go forward because eventually they would've had to either stop to make a safe turn, or full swing that **** which the body of the vehicle would've definitely sent them flying (being that they were close to the vehicle when they ran towards it). Most people would NOT have just calmly drove away when things go down this fast.

She could've stayed in the vehicle but people get pulled out of vehicles all the time, so her defense was to protect herself from what she thought was very increased danger. Again, maybe she should've stayed in the car, but my entire argument isshe did NOT pull out the gun for no reason.

Yeah man we'll see what happens. Either way we can agree it was a chit situation all around.

The couple did what they had to do so the protestors would back off and move on. They had all the right to use their 2nd amendment rights. Why the fuk did they go to jail? That's basically the authorities telling them that they have no right to defend themselves in a situation where they would've gotten injured real bad or possibly death.

In a just world those hood rats would have had the chit beaten out of them. Instead a woman pulls a gun on them after repeatedly trying to avoid the situation and nobody winds up getting hurt then they get arrested Honk Honk.

I'm definitely open to the possibility that they stood behind the car intentionally for the sake of faking a "you tried to me over" situation, but it seems like a real reach that she couldn't leave. She only has a few more feet to go before she'd be backing into a car in another parking spot, and the spot to her right - two spots, actually, as she's in a handicapped spot and one is painted over for wheelchairs - is open. (As an aside, I'm pretty sure they're using that spot illegally.)
What's their goal? That goal has been obvious for 5 weeks on the evening news.
I just want to be clear. Are we arguing that a police officer's wife and daughters were conspiring with Big Blackness or what?

I just see some bishes having a kunt-off in a parking lot. They throw some ammo from current events but that's what bishes do.
She's pregnant. She's worried about a physical altercation that could lead to a miscarriage.
So she gets out of the car to introduce a gun into a situation where she's outnumbered and in no condition to resist having it taken away? Again, this is a reach.
She did what she had to do and I don't think any sane jury would convict her of anything. Her pulling the gun was a last resort and was used to de-escalate.
I think more facts will come out, including, probably, surveillance video of how it started. We'll see. In general, threatening someone with a gun to "de-escalate" is a really bad idea because you're creating a plausible set of facts that the other person has to kill you to save their own life. If you're not justified in shooting, it's a bad idea to aim.
The guy driving couldn't do anything. If he'd gotten out, he wouldn't have been allowed to defend himself against a couple of rachet females because we live in a world where men cannot ever lay a finger on a woman without having their lives ruined.
He did get out, and also had a gun.

Because they smacked her car?
- That's a reach. Because when her car was smacked, she didn't immediately point the gun at them. Not to mention even if that's the case.. by your logic, she would still be outnumbered and in no condition to resist. so.....

Because she just wants to point her gun for no reason?
- Also a reach. At no other time did she do so until she was ran up on.

Logical conclusion would be she did so because she felt threatened. While she did yell "Don't you fuking jump behind my car" that was in response to being accused of hitting the other woman with her car. You can argue that it was stupid for her to get out of the vehicle, but I don't think it's a reach to say she chose that option as pure self defense and thought it was the best option.

No, more than that. She wanted one of these moments (see below) for herself. She wanted to post it online. She wanted that narcissistic supply.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfxwRUYeBfk

A number of black narcissists are relishing the public humiliation they think they can force upon white people right now. Trying to ruin this couples' lives gives them the same narcissistic supply.

They genuinely get off on sick chit like this.

I think she was just already running so hot that when the woman slapped the car, she lost all perspective on how important the situation actually was. All those violent road rage incidents aren't usually a bunch of reasonable people thinking things through with good reasons for doing what they do, it looks like this chit. Ego, etc., and everybody lies after.

Either way, the larger point is this: imagine this went differently, and there was only silent surveillance video from the Chipotle and all the witnesses in the restaurant who called 911 about people holding guns on that family. For simplicity's sake, forget the husband.

- "She bumped my daughter and when I demanded an apology, she started cussing us out." (Presumably would be supported by the video.)
- "We had a mutual argument, but then she was started saying racis' chit and threatening to kill us so we tried to walk away." (Video shows them arguing, but no audio.)
- "My mom and sister stood way over there but they tried to run her over." (It's not like she was hiding, they could see her if they looked. In reality, they were probably so pissed they didn't look carefully before they backed up.)
- "When I tried to come help my mom, this lady jumped out of the car screaming, we kept telling her to get away from us but she stuck a gun in our face."
- "When she pointed it at my sister that's when my mom pulled out her gun and shot her, and called my dad first."
-HERO POLICE WIFE DEFENDS DAUGHTERS AGAINST RACIST KAREN

...that is why this is a terrible idea and why the law doesn't encourage it. You're transitioning from a situation where there isn't a clear crime to one where, even though you feel provoked, you're going to look like the initial aggressor and the other person instantly goes from "no excuse for hurting you" to "a pretty good reason to try to kill you". Same evidence, but you're dead and nobody gets to hear your side. It's messy as chit.

Blows my mind that decent lads ITT are saying 'no reason to pull a gun'

I've lost count of the amount of white people being puled from their cars and bashed, or at least attempted to but they speed away, in the last 2 months

You violently smash the back of someones car its a threat, and pulling a firearm is completely warranted if you're a lady that does not have the skill to attack hand-to-hand

Then you haven’t watched the whole video. Both black women threatened to kick both the woman and mans ass. The black lady then stood behind their car so they couldn’t leave which is a crime. You know you didn’t watch the whole video but commented anyway, you are such a fuking ******* bro, and by bro I mean never my bro.

Your previous edit said something about being able to tell she was just upset that they hit her car because of the tone of her voice. You're also saying all of these violent road rage incidents prove that people usually do this type of stuff out of ego.

Her tone could have easily been because she got ran up on and was shocked. She didn't become that upset until that part happened. The very first words that came out of her mouth when she got out of the car wasn't "DON'T FUKING TOUCH MY CAR", it was "GET THE FUK AWAY FROM ME".... which seems far more reasonable that she was reacting to them running up on her. An easy explanation on why she sounds the way she sounds is because she was actually afraid, not fed up. People who are afraid also have the same screeching tone. Again, you can argue why she got out of the car if she was afraid, but I've already gave my answer to that. Her having an ego doesn't seem to match up, because prior to that part, she seemed far more reasonable and level headed. Apologizing when she knew she wasn't in the wrong, trying to have a civil conversation, trying leave the situation in a calm manner. These aren't things someone with an ego typically does.

None of this stuff needs to be imagined with only silent surveillance. We have footage with audio, which plays a major role in all of this. It shows character, tone, and adds even more info to the scene. The audio adds the fact that they said they were going to beat her ass while running at her. That adds far more weight to the situation. If she felt like they were going to do so and she feared for her life, I can completely understand why she did what she did.

Now if you're talking about the court of law? I have no clue if she'd be in the right or wrong. Nor am I arguing that. I'm just saying I understand why she did it and personally don't think she was in the wrong for doing so. Could she have handled it better? Yeah of course... but heat of the moment and all. I also don't think she pulled out her gun for no reason.

Lulz since when is the default excuse for everything “racist”.. emm never mind.

I’m worried for all of us on both sides that aren’t into all this Bs and are just trying to live our lives.

If you watch the long video that was posted and still truly believe she had no reason to protect herself then you might want to self examine whether you might actually be the “racist”.

Brb all these degenerates pulling stunts like this always running off at the mouth with the “I’ll do this or that you WHITE mfers” are the 100% the racist but it’s seen as Ok to say things like that to white people. Then when said white person finally has enough of the bs they try to turn the tables like “see I told you she was racist”. It’s fkn pathetic.

“What is know is that all people involved are retarded with Karen being the queen retard and the husband being a retard for marrying somsone so fkn stupid.”

Hell no it’s not “what is know”... because to me it seems the biggest idiot would be someone willing to follow another family all the way out to their vehicle over such a stupid incident.

And how this man got into any kind of trouble is just crazy.

Right, I clipped it on edit because it wasn't actually important, but since you're raising a good point about it: those words can be twisted to establish that it wasn't self-defense and that she was threatening to kill them for slapping her carwhich is 100% slam-dunk felony assault. The point was that the noises she was making were her adrenaline pegging the meter, regardless of whether it was because she was scared or because she was angry.

Bear in mind that I'm taking the narrative that this started with her cussing the mom out early on and her past behavior of abusing store employees at face value, then inferring that she tried to control herself when the camera came out. That might not turn out to be true. Either way, it's ego on their part not to let it go and feel entitled to an apology, it's ego on her part to need the last word when she gets in the car, it's ego on the mom's part to keep mouthing off when she backs up, it's ego on her part to get out instead of telling her husband to drive the fukk away, etc.

This is the basic architecture of every road rage arrest I've ever seen. Two people get into a gator-like death roll with each other where they just won't stop. The one who gets trolled into adding a weapon is the one who ends up in jail, because that's the one fact that's usually irrefutable.

Totally, but that's exactly why I said, that audio might be the only thing that saves her. How many people get caught up in chit like this with no audio? How confident should anybody in this situation actually be that the facts are going to look the way they think they do in the heat of the moment once the police get there? That's why it's worthwhile to internalize what a bad idea this is.
I also don't think she pulled out her gun for no reason.
I don't think she did, either, and I don't think she did it because she's a racist. Anger is a reason, and pride is a reason. They're just not good enough reasons to keep you out of jail, which is the problem with letting somebody get to you like this. It's going to be on her at trial to convincingly argue that she was afraid, without blurting out anything stupid or giving the prosecutor a way to make her look like a lying fool on cross.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

I almost feel like the American gov wants people to rise up against crime and black people. All I see on ******** is people kneeling for this. Black peopke attsvking that. NASCAR doing this and that. College football doing this and that. The blm doing this. It’s getting to where you could be attacked at anytime for being white and go to jail if you defend yourself. It’s quite scary

I think we might be arguing on two different narratives here. Either way... It could definitely be twisted in the way it is, as it's being twisted right now that she was a racist and wanted to hit the mother then shoot her. If they had done what you said, which is drive the fuk away, and accidentally hit them, the narrative could also be spun that they purposefully did so because they were upset. We just don't know how things would've played out otherwise.

None of those traits you mentioned about her shows she was frustrated that her ego got out of control because her car was hit.
- feeling like you need to defend yourself from someone claiming you're racist or you hit them and even apologizing for the things they've gone through doesn't paint the narrative that this person has a ego in the sense you were initially talking about.

- Again, as I said before, driving away may not have been the best option in their mind at the time. If you drove away the narrative could've spun that some racist white woman just hit them, got scared when prompted about the situation, tried to hit/run over one of them, and drove away. That DEFINITELY won't look good. You can say that's better than this situation, but as I've said before... hindsight is on our side here.

- Also, If you were accused of hitting someone, and they charge at you (especially if they are right next to your car), you could very well accidentally hit them "harder" as you're trying to take off... ESPECIALLY if they grab on to parts of your vehicle, in which these things are known to happen. We don't know if this would've happened or not.

Also fear is a reason... but we keep going back to "if she was afraid, why would she do x"... it becomes circular.

Either way, I don't think we'll get to an agreement on this situation as a whole lol. It was a good convo tho and good to hear the other side.
