MANY people learn a different language!!! Anyone can learn it as long as they take the time to do it.

English is the universal language and needs to be taught well. There are so many immigrants where I live, and they learned to speak and communicate well-enough!!! English is one of the most difficult languages to learn though, so maybe you are putting too much pressure on yourself?? You may not need to be 100% fluent. But you do need to keep practicing enough to improve communication skills in both the work place and in all social settings.

I agree- it IS important. DON'T GIVE UP! Just keep practicing!! Unfortunately, too many natives aren't even fluent in reading, writing or verbal usage. Maybe that will help you to know. Have you listened to some people talk (not good)?? It may have to do with the educational school system, in some instances.

Never actually watched Seinfeld. Was more of a Larry Sanders fan but I liked Curb Your Enthusiasm so will check it out.

Short term memory. I can retain important knowledge from education, work etc. but if I make a list of things I need from the store that's only 3 items long? Guaranteed to forget the 3rd one if I don't have it written down.

Math and other highly technical concepts. I get bored when anything gets too deep/technical. I only want to understand things on a macro level and then move on to something else.

My IQ dropped a few points since being on the misc. Constant verbal bashing (they thought I was a dude too) and demoralizing behavior can temporarily do that to someone's concentration skills. That's something you should consider if you intend to stay on the misc, but truly want to learn a new language besides internet "lingo."

My kickflip technique was so weird. I couldn't do it the normal way with your toe on the edge of the board. Would kickflip from a standard ollie position - it was the only way I could do it but was really unreliable and could only do standing kickflips. Skateboarding was another thing that I put years of effort into but was too young to realise I had zero talent for it.

Drawing and math. I can only draw stick figures. lol I can color inside lines though and enjoy doing that.

I don't need to or care to, no offense. I have EQ and an above average IQ. That's worked fine for me for many years!
