Nothing wrong with marriage, but I imagine if you have a good head on your shoulders you need patience to find a good partner.

Wouldn't advise it for the majority of men. Only people I can see being happy are religious brahs or those desperately wanting a family, or you get lucky and find a woman who makes way more than you.

Just lmao at everyone ITT circle jerking. I'm not married, but i can tell you that the older you get, the more you want to be a dad, have a loyal wife, and take care of a family. The key to all of this is to find a girl worth marrying. Stop lusting after these goofy instathots and find a nice religious girl who is actually submissive to her man. The problem with men/women these days is they have let social media and chit take over their lives. Marriage isn't going to be as easy as bouncing from girl to girl, but it's sort of like making an investment in the stock market...no risk, no reward. You can take an educated risk with marriage by choosing someone with good morals, good family values, etc. She probably won't zuk your dink like the sloot you met at the club last year, but women can be taught things. I think y'all are wasting your time on the wrong women and you're masking your frustrations with "I'm an alpha, i don't even need a girl brah". Meanwhile you're living pointless lives and secretly jerking off to trannies at night. Pretty sad TBH.
If you want pure beta filled cancer go on to reddit - it is an incel cesspool where you have to be extra careful with your wording or some triggered thing may go into high estrogen rage mode.

At any age, once someone gets into a relationship it's likely you'll see them less especially if your crew is young and goes to the bars and stuff lots. It just appeals to single people more.
But it's important to still maintain your friendships and sometimes it will be up to the single ppl to make compromises and do other things with their friends in relationships other than just going out drinking.
That being said until you have kids, you should still see your best friends pretty regularly. Once kids come into the picture expectations should change.
People in healthy relationships understand the importance of maintaining friendships and individual hobbies/interests and making time accordingly. If you're not on the same page about this then the relationship will probably suck. Where a lot fail is in the honeymoon phase a man is infatuated with his new woman and the sexors and they form bad habits of always being together. Then once it wears off he wants more independence and to do things with his boys again and chit hits the fan.

In most animal species in the wild who raise their kids together, would you say males and females have the same roles?
No one is saying the wife has to be a literal slave dude, you are reaching so hard with that. What we're saying is it isn't ideal to try to raise a family with two people who are focused on their careers and working 24/7. Can the male can stay home and be soft and loving with the kids and the wife could be out in the cut-throat corporate world competing hard against men to support the family? I guess it's possible but in most cases it won't be ideal. Men and women are just naturally better at different things and you cannot argue your way out of that.

The term worship is nonsense. I don‘t need and also don‘t want to be worshipped. And while I want to be the main provider of my family, I want her to know what it means to provide, from her own experience, and not be dependent on me.
Just like it is a scientifically proven misconception that men and women are physically, socially, or mentally the same, it would be a huge mistake to try to get back to the old days where women have simply been restrained and oppressed.

No one is saying find a woman who you can boss around and treat like crap. I think you're mixing it up. I didn't use the term "worship" but i think it's pretty obvious it wasn't meant in a slave-master dynamic but one of deep respect and admiration which I believe should go both ways. Women are better at reading kids and taking care of the household and making sure her man is not deviating from the path. The man is better at being out there and hustling to provide, but because of that and because of how men naturally are, we just aren't as nurturing towards kids as a woman is. Generally.

Do you, but raising a family is also a choice. If you wanna do that most ideally you need to make some sacrifices when it comes to family roles.

IME Conservative and Libertarians tend to argue that equality of opportunity in the law = equality of opportunity in society.
IME the left tends to argue (IMO correctly) that equality of opportunity in law =/= mean that people do not experience discrimination in regards to employment, housing, interactions with authorities, healthcare, etc. Because there are - of course - legal ways of discriminating against people, even if anti-discrimination laws are in place, which is why they talk so much about cultural change regarding the perception and treatment of women and minorities.
(Take the misc for example, how many people would seriously think that if the average miscer was in management, they would see a female colleague without negative bias? )
IME conservatives and Libertarians tend to reject the notion that equality of opportunity in the law =/= equality of opportunity in society.
I agree though that members of the left go too far and also demand equality of outcome, which is impossible.

Most men in the west don't work in a trade.
Dude just wants kids to do whatever their father did.
Dude wants women to worship their partner.
Honestly, it sounds like historical fiction based utopianism to me. Victorian working class society was a very tough life, nothing 'romantic' about it.

Example A of brah that did it right: Wife graduated med school, gorgeous and stayed slender, cooks, never went into medicine but runs the office for his business that nets 7 figures, he calls occasionally during hunting/fishing trips, but it’s not “checking in with the wife”, it’s more just him calling her to shoot the chit to see how her day is going because he genuinely enjoys talking to her.
Example B. Bro who I own a gym with, married and has 2 kids, one on the way. We get together once a week to lift and talk business. Wife interned at NASA, took time off to help get the gym off the ground, and have kids, is a six figure income engineer now. Has his back 100%
Now the bad ones...
Example C. Buddy is an engineer making maybe 65k if he’s lucky, knocked up his gf who I already warned him I knew was trying to catch a kid. She got pregnant right around graduating with an MS in engineering. He married her because according to him, if he didn’t she wouldn’t let him see the kid. Had an offer to get his PhD at Berkeley fully paid and funded by a national nuclear lab he works for, on track to become upper management. Wife tells him not happening. She’s never worked and now popping out kids left and right. Buddy is stuck as a mid level civil engineer making $60-70k rest of his life. He’s miserable.
Example D. Buddy is a high performing lawyer, clears $500k-$1 million depending on year (still has to pay insurance, taxes, staff, etc.), marries low level nurse, constantly bishing about not wanting to rock the boat at home and why he can’t go on trips, made him move from house he built as dream house to some rental because it’s “closer to her work”, Brb she stops working with COVID. Quit working out and looks like chit, I’ve asked him a few times on fishing trips or to hit the gym and usual answer is “I wish bro, but you know how XYZ is, but you should totally come over for dinner some night, I want you to get to know XYZ better”, no thanks brah.
In the VAST majority of cases I see brahs giving up a phuck ton more than they’re getting, and the divorces haven’t even started coming in yet.

I just read the OP so I am giving my opinion on that and not the weird slavery/utopia/misinterpretation derailing that is going on above this post.
OP, it might just be the fact that your newly married friends are both busy and enjoying that newly wed lifestyle. I remember when I first got married I did not have a lot of free time to go out doing chit. Me and my new bride were setting up a household, both working, trying to get pregnant, and also trying to advance ourselves in our careers. Now, our household is pretty set, we each know our roles in the house, we are both more advanced in our careers, and our kids are fairly independent now, which means both of us now have more free time to go out and do things, especially those things that cost money or lots of time to do.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with subservience and lack of choice or being unequal
A couple embracing loyalty, and self accountability has nothing to do with specific roles and everything to do with integrity and honour
But self appointed “traditionalist” will never see that

It's such a shame divorce courts are the way they are, Corporate women wouldn't stand a chance.

It’s not about feminism, it’s about respect.
Worthwhile men and women would rather have a partner of value. The mother of your children should not be less intelligent or capable than you are. The father of your children should not hold values that make a daughter less valuable, or have less autonomy and options than a son.
Your troll echo chamber damages those who know no better, even if you think it’s funny

Like I said, if it wasn't for divorce courts + high cost of living, a lot of corporate women wouldn't stand a chance against cute waitresses and baristas. All this equality crap is a big job and no man wants to come home competing against his wife. Now you got women complaining about 'dating down'. Talk about ridiculous.

The better advice is to mind your own damn business unless there's something unhealthy happening. Just because ya boy doesn't go out on Thursday nights anymore doesn't mean his life has any impact on yours.

One of my friends was really into motorcycles and making youtube videos and going to concerts and stuff, but every since he got marred (last year) he's really dropped all of his hobbies, and what made him cool, to spend time with his wife.
We used to hang out all the time, and now our tight circle (about 4 other guys) doesn't really associate with him the same way as we did when we were in highschool/college. We try to invite him over and do stuff with him, but the man is a on a leash and doesn't do anything without his spouse. I don't blame him or her TBH, they make an alright couple. I just wish he truly LIVED and found his passion(s)/goal(s) in life before settling down. At least that's MY idea of how to live life.
He even told me a couple months ago at another friend's birthday party that he feels like he hasn't accomplished anything great yet, with his wife standing right next time haha. The guy is educated, has a good job, etc. I just hope he doesn't fill that "void" by having kids or anything too soon. I'm not one to judge, though. He can do whatever makes him happy.

I'm 35, and at this point I'll probably just get a live in GF and never actually get formally married(unless she's younger, like mid 20s). Some of my friends who are in more mature marriages are having fun at this point, but for example I see my brother getting controlled by his wife and it's not anything I would consider acceptable.

Corporate women are known to be always constantly competing, that's the guise of Feminism, competing instead of complimenting. And no man wants to come home to that. I and many others are all for women having rights, but when you have to compete it's just dumb and tiresome.
