Glad it went well but f*ck you for making me itchy while reading about the presumed allergic reaction to the original antibiotic

Yeah! Couldn't remember the name. Pretty damn cool machine.

**** yeah I am. I see my pain doctor in 2 weeks for a follow up and we'll plan it out from there. I'm pretty sure a roho seat cushion would take care of the rest of the hip pain so **** these opiates.

Same. That **** would be so demoralizing.

They did an EXCELLENT job with the pain management. My pain doctor and neurosurgeon work together a good bit, so my normal pain doc was the one that adjusted my meds and whatnot post-op. I honestly don't think it could've been done any better.

Thank ya and hopefully so

That was honestly the weirdest pre-op surgery experience I've ever had. Surrounded by surgical staff after getting my IV put in and then I wake up recovery. No recollection of anything after the anesthesiologist put something in my IV to relax.

How's your brother doing now and was there any permanent damage? What level?

You can see the scar from the original surgery next to it in this picture. Took this one when I got home an hour ago.

Ignore the extra ******* under the new incision. That's an old pressure sore scar.

Get back in the gym and do what you can.
That's the goal! Need to lose all this weight I've gained. Should be able to start lifting in roughly 6-8 weeks.

The itchiness of opiates doesn't even come close to how much I was ****ing itching with whatever I was allergic to.

no, but his left pec shrank to nothing for about 3 months after the surgery, I think that bothered him more than the back surgery itself. He has some rods in there but he's great now, leg training obviously had to be backed off on from the days we would squat 5+ plates, but he looks great and is super active. He had a 2nd emergency surgery after the first when something went wrong, it was a crazy time.

I'm glad you're doing ok so far, keep us updated on the rehab. If you can't flex your trunk muscles do you expect atrophy? will that have any issues long term with sitting?

ultrasound. they said they found hernias. I asked my Dr to see me after surgery prior to surgery. dude went home. guy shows up as theyre kicking me out and was bitchy. Saying chit like well the scan was a little blurry but they saw what looked like hernias. I asked why I want told and how I didn't get another scan. I liked that Dr, but now I want his license taken. "I bet if you knew then what you know now you woulsnt have had the surgery." nooooo chit

I took all of the risks for nothing.
