Mirin

I also acknowledge that the way you do things by accepting to be less lean to make progress is the most efficient way. I have been too obsessed with staying lean that it takes me a long time to increase my lifts, and I also have to have everything else in check (sleep, recovery etc). Your thread has made me reconsider a few things.

I thought I had some big legs but holy ****. You have some cannons. What do you do for your bis/tris? Those are my biggest weakpoints. Want to see what other natty brahs found success in.
I honestly do not do to much direct work for bi's and tris. I focus on regular upper body workouts (pullups, back rows, bench, shoulder press, etc) and just finish off with some bicep curls or triceps extensions. Come to think of it though, lately i have been doing some floor pressing after doing shoulder press, and i do think this has given me strength in my shoulders and triceps. I would suggest try working in floor press with a pause at the bottom, this is such an under valued motion IMO. My arms genetically were one of my stronger points too. I d suggest just make sure you are doing major compound movements while at the same time attack arms.

Posted this before, here is my angle on injuries:
Injuries are irl and they will happen. Have had a "sprain" to probably every muscle and joint in my body, nothing that didnt recover. I would say the two areas in my body that have encountered the most "injury" more so in the past, have been shoulders and low back. What is important here is to figure out what you are doing wrong and stop doing it. Low back injuries, for me, were likely related to poor core bracing. With a belt on and proper breathing and bracing technique my low back issues have gone away. Actually attack low back too with lowback/hyper extensions. Shoulder issues were too mostly related to poor bench press form. I do believe in attacking rear delts too to hopefully decrease injury and keep shoulders in "alignment". Again when i was younger i encountered these injuries much more than I do now. It's a matter of knowing your body too. I can do a deadlift and feel a twink in my spine and know to walk away now and if i dont things will get worse. You can sometimes feel a "burn" in the shoulder and know everything is ok just keep your form tighter. You really learn your body over time and know what signs/symptoms will make you pay later and what signs are just signaling you are out of alignment. If you go heavy, i dont care who you are, you WILL GET INJURED. Just learn from these and keep ego in check. Record your lifts with your phone from time not so that you can brag on the gram but so that you can really look at your technique. Really helps in improving form/decrease injury.

I know some guys do slow clean bulk and make gains, but you have consider many of them might be fake natty's too. Then you have to consider when you go full blown bloat lord dreamer bulk, you will have to burn fat (which will lead to some muscle loss) to get lean again. What i m trying to say, try to find a happy medium. Get on a good program, eat a little more, and watch the mirror. When you do get to a point where you feel you do not look as good, weigh your options then : do i want to be leaner or and am i enjoying the beast mode strength gains.

Once you get use to it, you ll never go back. i do not pay for it at all. I just use it to follow a program for my main lifts and then log any additional work after that. Then i have a clear view of my strength progression over time, this has essential in measuring progress.

I’d ask how it feels to know it was all pointless but I can already answer that myself
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

ty man, arms and legs were never a weak point for me genetically.

What really helped my standing ohp was seated barbell ohp. Work on your ohp seated and standing. When you do your seated OHP make sure you are coming all the way down, and find a technique that works for you where you do not blow your shoulder out doing this. i find using a narrower grip helps to save my shoulders.

Honestly if i started to cut now, my lifts would drop, and i d feel like **** as i do feel like i have a bit more in the tank. Plus its winter and looking lean in a jacket isnt worth it.
When the spring comes, i may cut down for summer, might drop down to 210-220ish and shoot for below 15bf

its not about sloots. and if you want to go there, as a natural strength does equate to size = getting noticed over twinks.

I've been lifting for 10 years and my lifts stopped increasing after about 2 years srs. I also stopped gaining weight after one bulk phase. Biggest I ever got was 215 and I was bloated and fat AF. Felt like chit. I now hover around 185 perpetually.

Dude I'm 210lbs right now and feel like a twig. I'm only 6'1.5 lol. I don't get the bloat fat feeling until 225-230.

If I was 6'3 like you I'd be 220-230 and maintain that solid and walking around like a brick chithouse.

going to have to go into a bulking diet and this time get on a PROGRAM. I use the app intensity to log/calculate my lifts and i do a custom 5/3/1 training split, i ve blasted through long time PRs and plateaus.

I m 6'0, 245lb and bloat lord status. 210lbs is a good enough size, especially if pretty lean at 210

What is diet like?
Now vs lean?

I've been 6'0 210 relatively lean at my biggest but currently a shadow of my former self. Been at it naturally since 18 and just turn 33. Started at 140lbs skinny fat.
The thing that is annoying is to be ripped vs relatively lean, the calorie disparity and recovery abilities are huge.
Like 2k cals to be ripped vs 3000-3200 to be juicy.
How the fuk do I need 2k cals to be ripped at 165lbs, 175lbs, 185, etc. Gaining muscle I think people grossly over estimate how much more cals they'd be able to eat. Eventually to be ripped, is to suffer.

You’re doing it right with going bloat for a bit. I’ve been sitting between 165-170 for years now. Not really making any gains. Just started a pretty heavy bulk and strength is shooting up. Good work man. Starting to think spending time as a bloatlord is the best way to go for nattys that have been stuck for a while.

surprised 215 is bloat status for you. I think 215 is a good lifetime weight to shoot for at your height to be lean and somewhat big at the same time although as a natty one may argue you can't have both worlds

Diet now vs lean is the same at the core (6 meals a day and approx 40%protien / 40% carb/ 20% fat ratio)
When bulking add in some extra carbs/fats, when cutting progressively cut out those extra carbs/fats and do more cardio, and as you say, suffer with hunger.

I've got the best results going bloat to shred. Just do not want to over bloat, the status i am at now, look at my pics, is just about the most bloat you want to get.
Cut slowly and carefuly, dont want to muscle waste with a fast cut.

yeah i dont look bad lean, def do not have elite bodybuilding genetics though.

At this point, there wouldnt be much of a reason to go non-natty. Last time i had my test level checked they were good too.

deadlift was one of my most stubborn lifts over the years. Long torso and not very long arm crew check in. My deadlift has actually progressed more than any other lift.

I do beleive my deadlift will soon surpass my squat, although my squat/dead are neck and neck right now.

Widened my deadlift stance (this is essential for me because i am a normal leg length, long torso, short arm crew),
learned hook grip (straps were fukin me up)
greatly improved my core bracing

For a guy who I would say was genetically more atheletic than most growing up, but not in the top 5% of genetics, what i shared is what you should expect. If i cut and took pictures that were instagram like, my progress would look alot better in your eyes. if i walk into any random fitness center right now in the bulk mode I am in, i am stronger than 95% of people, all around , if not 100% of people in that gym.
