Most of your parents weren't even born then, or were kids at best. Where is the info coming from? Old photos and adverts? I don't get it.
Cost of living was reasonable and you weren't drowning in debt to treat yourself to some of life's pleasures. Sounds better than whatever tf this is.

Did you just google "when was life better" and it said the 1950s?

I am sure the 50s were ok but that has a lot to do with the propaganda they were pushing. This country has been owned by the same people who are in charge now. The only real difference is that the scam is more obvious.
1) If marriage is so great why aren't so many of you married ?
2) If you want to blame women doesn't that mean that women have always been like that ?
3) Blaming social media/women just means that love can not exist without social media
4) If Religion is so great why don't you people go to church ?
5) People all through out history have never really been happy, this is just another era where humans struggle to find a purpose

As a society we had expectations for women. Slut-shaming was encouraged unlike in today's world where feminism teaches women that it's empowering to **** many guys. Back in the 50s, a woman would walk in shame if people found out she was into hookup culture. It was all just satire. Sorry if I offended anyone with my trolling and sickening posts. Peace and love to everyone.
