The news just broke, apparently the instructor had COVID and gave it to the student during their tandem jump

RIP

It’s crazy to think that people have survived parachute failures before.

Another death from COVID

Damn SMH
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Not sure if you’re serious but hitting water from that high is like hitting concrete

Nothing to do at that point but to play Sandstorm and wait for it.

I legit think about those movies every time I see this happen on the highway:

Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Everybody knows about the “cement effect” water has when you land on it hard and fast.
And if you survive you get to swim back to land with skydiving gear on and a parachute attached. Score.

Yea but there's a secondary 'chute as well, that must have failed too, thats fuked up.

Skydived once, insane adrenaline rush, to the point of feeling like passing out the moment you jump, never going again lmao.

Next time you’re in a swimming pool stand where it’s 3 feet deep, wind your arm back and then open palm slap the water as hard as you can. Then imagine your whole body in free fall from 15,000 feet hitting like that.

It wouldn’t do anything except kill you just as fast as hitting pavement.

What if you went toes first and went in as straight as possible? I wonder if you’d have a better chance then.

Feet first into a significant tree canopy seems like the highest possible chance of survival.
best to just accept your dead and aim head first. Would you really want to experience that excruciating pain and then be a vegetable or cripple for the rest of your life? I'd say it's your time if this happens, just sit back and accept
