while this is true - something definitely beats nothing. And in the realm of the somethings, I would say BJJ is inarguably in the top three of fighting somethings.

Watching BrutalBeatdowns shows you just how depressing getting jumped by multiple dudes really is. As soon as you go to the ground (which 6v1 or even 3v1 you will), your tour is 1000% over and it's basically up to them to decide if they kill you or not.

For 1v1s that stay 1v1s, I have NEVER seen anyone continue fighting after a powerbomb/suplex on concrete. Pick whatever fukking grappling art you want to. If you can duck a punch, shoot, grab them, and slam, you win. Super high probability of veggie/death for the other guy if you hit his head, which would complicate your life a bit, but it's a fukking EZwin cheat code. Few laymen are going to know how to defend a takedown, and your body weight + their body weight * concrete is enough force to fuk anyone up.

it has less to do with how long you train and more on how you train.

if you train like the miyao brothers, you're going to get your shyt kicked in 10/10 times in a streetfight.

train like pablo popovitch and you wont be scared of anyone.
The training is nothing, the will is everything. The will to act.

Argues when I say a double leg is basic BJJ and would win a fight.

Agrees when someone says "Powerbomb" opponent to win a fight. Isn't that a double leg?

Go back to winging arm punches on the gym heavy bag with your hood up, tough guy.

Just lol.

Just skip BeJayJay and MMA crap altogether and take up Ameridote.

I don't think so, the dbl leg is using momentum to get them off their feet during the charge but the power bomb is more physically picking them up. Rampage and a few others have done it to get out of an arm bar.

No such thing as being "unbeatable" Doesn't matter how great of an armbar you have if the person has friends and/or a weapon, doesn't matter.

You actually can if you are properly trained defend against an edged weapon from 2 people, granted it would be a safer idea to just run like hell but sometimes you can't. As for a gun, no system in the world can teach you how to defend against someone who wants to shoot you but they can teach you how to defend against threats.

This. A takedown's a takedown either way.

Most brahs know how to throw a punch and shoot for a tackle, but stuffing a takedown is knowledge that very few people will have unless they've been trained. Basic chit like sprawling isn't even hard, it's just something that you average street-fighting degen won't have ever come across.

BJJ also throws a wrinkle in that you can still fight someone while being stuck underneath them, which is something that few brahs won't have ever seen before. Royce Gracie choked out chit-zillions of bigger fighters than him in the early UFC fights, not because BJJ is some mystical shaolin martial art bullshido, but because he was throwing in moves that most of his opponents had never had to deal with before.

With both takedown defense and BJJ: imagine if you spent your entire life hitting thousands of fastballs out of a pitching machine, and then some dude throws the first curve you've ever seen. 100% chance you'll strike out on it.

Royce Gracie was also in a controlled setting, against one person, with rules and a ref. His "go to the ground" method would get his head stomped in in a real street fight. Not saying he couldn't handle himself, he's more than capable but still.

old school UFC was as close to a street fight as you could possibly get lol. Tell me what was different in his early UFC days compared to a street fight aside from it being 1v1?

No amount of training or knowledge of multiple fighting styles will make anyone 'unbeatable' in a fight. IMO training at an MMA gym would be the best way to increase your odds of surviving a street altercation but even that wouldn't guarantee your health or survival.
