What if I told you a lot people who treat their hobbies serious ended up making tons of money or getting rich? Somebody that plays crazy amounts of pool? Probably makes $50,000 playing in Vegas. I take my hobbies serious, but I don't even tell anyone about them.

Most people are so dumb, lazy, and basic, I wouldn't expect them to know anything about hobbies.

I"m assuming you're using lifting as the example for your thread? If so, most people are going to be turned off. Think about the average diet and the average sedentary lifestyle where the average person doesn't work out. If you're carrying on a conversation talking about how you count your calories and time your workouts of course they're going to be intimidated/repulsed. The few that aren't repulsed are going to be those who have a desire to change deep down and those my friend are a very rare.

I remember reading in one of the Robert Greene books(author of the art of seduction)...that it's always beneficial to make it seem like you have you what you have with zero effort. That makes you seem like a God...so the best case scenario when someone asks about your workout routine in the future just tell them you go to the gym when you feel like it.

I'm passionate about a lot of things because they bring me a lot of joy, if you find me cringy for being happy, that's fine. It makes me happy, I'll keep being passionate about them.
