I just kind of knew after I played FF7 original that nothing would ever come close to that game

yeah because they dont make games like they used to


they used to make a game with all the trimming in one disc, meant to play at home with the people in your household with the small option to play online with someone else.

then came the dlc. then it became staggered dlc so you are waiting months for additions to a game you already paid for
then came the short story and emphasis on online gaming

when that happened, the shelf life of a game is dependent on how many people want to play online; that means if i love a game i cant even play it much because everyone is jumping to the next big thing.

just got an xbox s with game pass so a bunch of free games available

the only one i've enjoyed were the ori games which i thought would be chit but they are so well done

everything else is so boring

also bought cyberpunk, just lol

I use to love games but I like games where I am on a mission and there's a story.

I'm the sequel to Tom Clancy Wildlands, and I can't remember its name even. Wildlands, you in Columbia and destroying cartel bases. It was a real place and there were a purpose. The sequel is science fiction and it's hard to figure out what the story is and why what you're doing counts.

So, Wildlands was motivating and the sequel is not.

I remember getting depressed playing Fallout because I'm wandering around this depressing landscape collecting bottle caps or whatever the hell, and it's sad. The same thing happened when I was playing Skyrim, wandering, got depressed, couldn't finish.

There's too many games like this that are big, but really don't have enough interesting stories to make the game have purpose.

I used to love online shooters because I am a "camper" because I believe that's how real life works. I do not like running around shooting, I like having a spot to defend or move around to spot. Now, camping spots are removed and so retards run around and shoot each other in an extremely unrealistic manner.

Games got boring and so buying a new box hasn't crossed my mind, when I used to be excited about such stuff.
