This. Thats the problem with Idaho too. Rent has doubled the past 5 years and houses are literally selling for 3X more today than 5 years ago. But our wages are the same because its all out of state people coming in and driving up everything. Im self employed but an accounting firm reached out to me because they came across my linkdin profile. They asked if Id be cool with 40k and no benefits until after 12 months....to do the job of a fukn CPA. I lol'd and said no thank you and good luck finding someone to take that pay.

The entire east coast took a summer off with $4k/month takehome per household, with a 3rd world cost of living.

Government welfare is already an acceptable way of life on the east coast, I get what he was doing but we will be paying for those votes for a generation.
