Few people are actually incapable of killing themselves, they just lack the conviction to actually do it so want someone else to do it for them.

People at end of life can do it in calm controlled environments when they know there will be no pain, their loved ones can be there and there is no impact from taking their own life. When you come to terms with your own mortality it’s easier

Those who don’t get to that place won’t lay down plans and won’t go for it anyway

No idea, but euthanasia should be legal in medical instances when quality of life is gone. I do not think it should be allowed for mental health issues however. That is when the slope gets very slippery. But someone dying of cancer, or someone who is bed bound, paralyzed, ect...... they should have the option to end their life on their terms.

Some mental illnesses cannot be cured or treated

Why is mental illness that tortures people exempt?
