Yes. I couldn't care less about random strangers. Don't pretend for a second like you're any different

Absolutely. As long as you are disciplined in your purchasing and repayment habits, credit cards are the greatest things. If you aren't they can be one of the worst. There really isn't a middle ground. But there really isn't any reason an adult shouldn't be able to compare the balance on their card vs the balance in their bank and know whether they can afford a purchase or not.
So you're also contributing to the problem and fukkin over all other people.
Don't pretend it's noble to screw yourself over just because others aren't disciplined enough to take advantage of the system already in place. It already exists and it's not changing. May as well benefit from it however you can.

Four. 2 have revolving CB categories. I use those for the categories they are in.

Then I got my regular use one. The last one I just have because but was my first and I'm keeping it for credit age.

I'm poor, think total credit limit is around $35k. My fico from 6/13 is 828. Only debt I have is balance on those cards. It all gets paid monthly. Probably around $500-700.

10 cards, I alternate between the good(2-2.5% cash back) ones for a daily and use the rest to once in a while fill up the tank.

Lol at people not able to control yourself on credit cards and saying they are bad and risky.

Using CCs is good if you want your credit score and history look good for big purchases.

Also you buy with credit only things you can afford with normal card. Why is this concept so hard to understand?

I use to have several but only because the combined credit limit on all of them would boost my score due to having a low debt to credit ratio, and my score was around 750. But unfortunately I went thru long periods of unemployment and unexpected financial losses/expenses and I had to live off my credit cards for a while and ended up filing for bankruptcy and now I have 0 credit cards and a ****ty score. I've been meaning to try and rebuild my credit but just haven't got around to it.

I have 4 total, but only use 2-3 regularly

-Chase Sapphire Reserve for entertainment expenses because I get 3x points on ubers, restaurants/bars, transportation, etc. Plus, bishes love metal cards hehe
-Chase Freedom Unlimited because it stacks with the CSR except I get 1.5x points on any purchase instead of 1x for non-bonus categories on the CSR
-Chase Freedom because it also stacks with the CSR, except I get 5x on rotating categories. Usually the categories are chit, but sometimes they're good (i.e. groceries right now)

I also have the Costco card, mostly because it's basically free w/ membership and gets 4% back on gas. This will go in the drawer once I get rid of my car though

Awesome, this gave me a bit of good insight and it seems a lot of you have about 2-3 credit cards with great scores!

I'll probably stick to 2 as well as the Propel covers a lot of categories and the Active will give me 2% cash back when I product change to it (only comes out in July).

Appreciate the input!

Cheers!

yeah you want 2-3 because if one gets compromised it takes a few days to get a new one mailed and new number. you dont want to be late for bills or whatever
