Husband and I used FAM, fertility’s awareness method. In conjunction with tracking cycles, cervical fluid, I also used ovulation test strips (box of 50 or 100 off Amazon) to see when I was actually ovulating so we could avoid/try. When avoiding I also used spermicide gel incase he had weak pullout game.

You can cum inside at least 2/4 weeks using calendar method. Easy to know what to look for when you start it and observe for a few months.
Look up ovulatory shift as well.
It's obviously most fun to cum inside when she is ovulating, horny, wet as hell but that doesnt end well lmao

Coming off the pill can boost chances of conception in first few months
Wouldn’t you just have the snip?

NFP. Not pulling out, although that can be a part of it. NFP done the right way, including documenting temperature, cervical checks - it works. Hormonal BC is a nightmare and my IUD came out twice and I never would have known had I not looked. That seemed way too easy for a happy little accident to happen although supposedly that's rare.

Spoiler!
In seriousness, I do think it would be worse for someone with no kids, but it would be a serious adjustment for us, too.

We used condoms throughout dating and marriage until we decided to start a family.
It's not as fun I know (and now that she's tube tied I'm never using one again) but BC is so much worse for her health. If you're dead set against it I'd say pullout is your next best option.
