Here's a casual answer. Surely the woman (women?) wouldnt be the first two, as the individual is being referenced as "he". Thus the third person- "One said transexual cant be a women"- is the woman. Since in the given info the woman always lies, this at least must be a lie.
But again this is all an imprecise problem and ambiguous.
No one gonna answer any of the above? Thought misc was all about IQ and all that (smh at IQ in general!)

#2 is great because both Chad and Timmy are essentially saying they are green northerners, but the answer is different between the two.
You'd have to explain what you did for #4. There should be one thief, and he is known.
In #5, it can only be a false logical statement when the status of the person speaking is given. If the person actually is red and a northerner, is it false? In other words, if it's the case X is true and Y is true, is the logical statement X->Y true or false?
In #6, as with all statements given on planet misc, it is the whole uttered statement that is true/false based on the status of the person giving it.
Problems #1-3 have now been solved, gjdm

John is telling the truth.
The thief is a liar.
William's status is irrelevant.
If Thomas is a liar then:
- if he is the thief -> answer is NO incorrectly incriminating Williams
- if he is not the thief -> answer is YES incorrectly incriminating himself.
If Thomas is not a liar then:
- he cannot be the thief -> answer is NO correctly incriminating Williams.
My first answer was wrong but based on this I don't see how the judge cancorrectlyevaluate who's the thief.

The trick here is that all brothers are the same color but all of the same color are not necessarily brothers I presume.
Edit: and for 5 I guess;
GN - he might say that. Not a false statement since he’s not red and that’s not a statement per se.
RN - he wouldn’t say that since that would be a true statement.
RS - he wouldn’t say that since that would be a false statement
GS - he might say that since that is a false statement.
So he is Green (the fact that in all other cases the ask for color and/or location is specific and here it is not might also be a tip?!) ?

This is not what I have for 5. To be fair, it does require information about what logical implication is- how its truth table is defined.
The following statement: "if a triangle has 4 sides, then a square has 7 sides" is, for example, true in logic.
The casual justification for this is as follows. Say John utters "if it rains today, then I will give you $100". Say it doesnt rain, and that he doesnt give you the $100. No one should come back at John and say he lied, he only specified what would happen if it does rain. The only time his statement would be false is if it did rain, but he didnt fork over the $100. The truth table of the logical implication X->Y is the same as that of not(X) or Y. So what would the answer to #5 be now?
