I just got the platinum trophy on ds3. I haven't solod every single boss, summoning in for harder ones like nameless king and midir helps a ton.

Just started sekiro and fuark that game is punishing, the gd giant ape dude took me over an hour of straight attempts to beat him.

I'm not good at video games and I solo'd every soulsbourne boss except Midir (I loathe that fight) and Lud and Zallen (their area is cancer). If you're having trouble just grind some levels

I've only done Ringed City once despite replaying DS3 several times. I wonder why.
Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

I think I've only done it twice. The dreg heap isn't a fun area with those laser angels and then you get to the city and it has the ghost archers that will one shot even a max level player, with all buffs and the heaviest armor in the game. I'd still rather play through the ringed city 3 times than make a single run across the frigid outskirts

It's strange to me how the ringed city seems to be held in higher esteem than Ashes of Ariandel. Probably just because its bigger

Wish I read some guides before starting and plan my build a little better.

Hit sl68 and went to Rosaria and changed to a dex build to go with Sellwood twin Blades infused with sharp. Game is on easy mode, killed the dancer after 3 tries like she was nothing.

I've seen some gameplay, but never bothered with it. Also read some good reviews too. What exactlyy is the storyline/theme? I just mainly play fps and elder scrolls. Also playing ffxiii.

The storylines are extremely convoluted and unless you read item descriptions and pay attention to little details around you you'll have next to 0 idea what is going on. The stories are great if you dig into them but people play souls games for gameplay. It's extremely satisfying

THe music of the game is amazing
Took a little over 70 hours but beat the game (not DLC's), game is a little different to flight sims, took a long time to figure out the movements

Moving on to Sekiro, getting ready for Elden Ring

The 'get gud' advice is probably the only advice you need.

I just finished ng+ in about the same amount of time it took me to get past the cursed rotten greatwood. The game does a great job of forcing a playing style early on that carries though to the later bosses.

Like - get past Gundyr and Abyss watchers and you will have the skill for Dragonslayer, Pontiff and Soul of Cinder.

The game goes from rage quit to Mario 64 level difficulty once the movements click

Ironically, I had more trouble with Bloodborne than with DS3. You can make DS3 a little easier with leveling and the right builds. Grinding for gear get you many levels. Sword builds with that black sword is said to be the best, but I liked magic too. Eventually I went heavy axe, which is a real challenge. You have to know the timing so that the enemy walks in to your attacks.

Once you learn the patterns and have decent gear, it gets a little easier. The first boss is probably one of the tougher fights because they want to teach you how the game works; pattern recognition.

Still the hardest boss in the series is Fume Knight from Dark Souls 2.

Correct. Fumey boy has beat me more than any other boss in the series. It took me like 60 tries to beat him the first time
