What about the women starting on her first day of residency. The supervisor told her to give a patient orange juice. The patient was sleeping so she hooked it up with an IV killing the patient. This after going through medical school.

I didn't read the article but saw one yesterday titled that many nurses were leaving hospitals to work as a traveling nurse. The pay was much better. Don't know what a traveling nurse is but imagine it better than working in a hospital.
Not a nurse, but my father is looking at signed up for a concierge doctor service. He is on government Medicare, and wait times to see a medicare doctor can be up to 5 months he was complaining to me about.

In my last ER even before Covid 15+ hour waits in the lobby was a norm. Its not that different

Would you want to work and become traumatized to help idiot unhealthy ****s that literally could most likely save their own life by getting a vaccine yet they simply won't? **** that. They are all overwhelmed and quitting over staff shortages and being forced to care for like 10+ patients on deaths door at a time while completely dead inside and burned out from seeing death 24/7 from this disease. Meanwhile antivax idiots downplay the virus and spew deadly propaganda against the only salvation that they have.
You all literally have no idea what its like to work in healthcare and around death and suffering and seeing families destroyed on a daily basis and it shows.

Unless someone has pre-existing conditions and are over the age of 70+ years old, this virus is nothing more than the flu, period.
All people like you know how to do is parrot what MSM tells you to say without actually using your own common sense to determine the actual cause of a person's death.
Died with COVID? Must have just been COVID, not the fact that they were 90, overweight and already have other pre-existing conditions, just COVID - that's all your NPCs logic.

HCW's right now are drowning in work and money. My friend is a respiratory therapist and was offered a $20k base salary raise, $10k bonus, and living stipend to hop over to Arizona for a contract. And nurses have it even better.

topic is confirmed where I live in TX. Nurses are exhausted and fleeing the hospitals to go work in private practices or urgent cares. The hospitals have plenty of beds, but not enough nurses to treat patients. The vaccine is not the issue.

I though most medical staff took the jab 6 months ago due to being first responders? Didn’t realize there were lots of holdouts.

I mean, fuk, NPs can now practice independently. Medical school graduates aren’t matching to residency because of this bullchit, and are stuck with no career and $300k+ of student debt.
Quality of care will go down, but profits wont.

The story about Maricopa county is BS. My brother works the covid-19 unit at a large hospital in the Phoenix area. Text from him this morning: "3 ICU COVID patients and 28 observational patients." That's not being overrun.

And any hospital refusing to provide care for anyone without a vaccine will be sued in to the ground and will be investigated for violating EMTALA and risk losing their credentials.

Fuk I hate most boomers so much. They really sold out the west and ****ed the young generations so hard. I was hoping cov19 would be the silver lining and make quick fertilizer and free up the absurd property market. Most boomers are fat, selfish arrogant, rude, loud, lazy obnoxious, just a big fukin weight on society in general. I'd replace them with conservative Filipinos any day. At least they are more polite, harder working and most are happy with a simple life. Not selling all the houses they accumulated by greed to Chinese foreign investors so they can go casino and cruises and Ricky Martin and Abba concerts. And pretend like they are the best. Their parents were good. But they raised entitled little selfish fatties. The pendulum has swung. May they all fertilize our pastures for better years ahead. Thanks covid.

I was referring to physicians (MD/DO) being in a ton of student debt upon graduation from medical school. You could probably get a BSN degree for under $25-30k if you completed your first two years in community college. My initial track in undergrad was BSN, but I changed mind later on. If I would have gone through with it, tuition for the four years would have been $32k total in-state.
